The lore here is that Miyoshi turned Ayano into a vampire 800 years ago, and now they go out hunting together every night, sip blood from the same glass, live in the same castle and sleep in the same coffin, but Ayano still has no idea whether they're in a relationship and spends each night awake with existential dread knowing that Miyoshi has literally forever left to dodge the question.

I hate how the main couple don't get together even in a yuri work, though. Miyoshi never seems to wake up.
