This artist is really pushing out the really sophisticated art now (as similar to the original as possible), where before they were more like sketches (the adult versions were definitely never like this)

Agreed. I love the (extremely) rare occasion that Kougi did Jimo Ai (a.k.a.: YoshiYou) art. Heck, Kougi is the one who introduced me to Jimo Ai.
