It's just an expression at this point. I still say it even though I've been an atheist for 25 years.

^^^technically the Almighty would still be their one and only God, however little they now might care for Him, if we're going by the Abrahamic premises...
Mileage varies greatly between sects over whether it would be theoretically possible for them to repent and gain His mercy should they have a change of heart, IIRC, but then that whole business about free will adds some serious snags in Christian context (where it's pretty much unique to humans)...

Tecnically even a demon have acknowledge of god, and in the judeo.christian tradition Lucifer isn't a god is a devil, which means the quote ''omg'' nor relate expresions are valid an consistent in that particular fact, demons talk about god indeed in other books outside the bible.
