I've been watching Sailor Moon with my girlfriend, and while I personally ship Mako x Mina, this is very acceptable to me as well. Especially considering the dance scene lol

I never watched Sailor Moon, but what I know is that they made another yuri couple into "cousins" in the eng dub. How'd they do these two in the eng dub?

When I was a kid, I found Ami super relatable and I had a bit of a crush on Makoto, so when I grew up and realized Ami/Makoto was a fairly popular ship I actually kinda felt like my childhood feelings had been somewhat validated.
Also, @Lil-Dumpster-Rat I'm pretty sure Ami/Makoto wasn't canon the way Haruka/Michiru was, so they didn't need to do anything, I don't think. I watched the English dub as a tween and I certainly don't remember anything that stood out to me about Ami and Makoto's relationship.
