Misaka is confused about what got into Satan and Uiharu. Kuroko is just acting normally.

Can someone tell me how much the mc of index is in this show? I feel like I can tolerate misaka if he's not in the show.

@Aquwin Way too much. He plays a relatively minor role in the first season but he plays a pretty major role in the second season unfortunately. So far in season 3 (7 episodes into a 25 episode season) he's only shown up in like one episode though, thankfully, and played a minor role in that one.

There's nothing wrong with Touma. Anyway, there's no excuse not to watch Railgun. It's great.

@Aquwin It's still worth watching even though Touma sucks. The biggest downside is there's a fair bit of stuff in season two of A Certain Magical Index that's connected with the events of Railgun S. Past that though the connections between the two parts of the franchise are weak enough that you can just watch Railgun and get everything.

Touma is the worst part of Index and Railgun though. Boring generic protagonist.
Misaka is considerably better without him around. Honestly, all the spin-offs are better than Index.

Railgun is basically a more fleshed out version of female-focused schoolgirl spinoffs like Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA and Soul Eater NOT!
Its plot owns and is way more streamlined than Index without using any romantic subplots as crutches and as a result is way more violent and action-packed than Index too.
