hmm, this isn't the first time I've seen bdsm on here with only two.thumbs tied together. Can anyone explain why the tie is like so? I find it quite odd and interesting at the same time.

^^You're probably never gonna see this but it is a reference to a scene on the anime, Canaan tied her like that to prevent her from following her into danger, Maria herself even said she could just break the string, but the string had a lot of emotional value to her and Canaan knew she wouldn't break it @mapikopiko
