This is a great piece I've known about it for a long while but it never occurred to me that the one who did it is an official artist for LWA. I also now know who is responsible for Akko's fantastic legs.

It was always obvious how Yoshinari saw these two, but sadly the votes of the many outweigh the mind of one. At least when money is involved. Not everyone can be Hideo "A Hideo Kojima creation" Kojima.

^I thought the effect was called monochromatic. Monochrome doesn't necessarily mean "black and white" like it's usually known for, it literally means "One colour," shades of orange/yellow in this case.
I'm probably totally, completely, outrageously wrong though, so don't quote me on that.

^I think what you mean is Sepia? That's only yellow and brown tones. But I believe what @shadesan was getting at is not the color scheme, but rather the texture style with the filling dots. Almost like TV static or Benday Dots.

what a lost potential , imagine the show beeing darker and deeper than it was and also diakko there , i realy wanted a crazy new harry potter world , but it even felt kinda rushed and it was a bit lighthearted wich isn't bad but i just want more of this show , finished rewatching it today , the characters didn't interact much , only in the ending , i wish there were more and a posibility for the creator to do what he wants , so we can enjoy it to the fullest potential

I could be wrong here, but I'm 90% sure this is what a friend of mine refers to as "semi-official" artwork; i.e., it was drawn by the creator/main character designer of the show, but, for obvious reasons, couldn't actually be used in any official promotions. Also more or less puts Diakko into same status as Nanoha x Fate; aka "officially, we're not allowed to say it's canon, but it's totally canon"
