Left Kanan is a reference to Kanan's recent event UR in All Stars, which is a little too sexy. Not sure if Right Kanan is a reference to anything.

When I saw the current UR Kanan my first reaction was 'HOLY SHHH' (I just started playing SIFAS) and then seeing this definitely just fuels my KanaMari ship.

I can't remember if there was any ref for the Kanan on the right unless I missed earlier ref SIFAS or SIF

We just hit the event with the sexbomb sleepover Kanan UR in the world edition — and lord, it's even better in context.

(To spoil slightly: in the moment where the shot on the card happens in the event story, KanaMari are being flirty in Hanayo's bedroom.)
