Considering both Rhea's and Edelgard's backstory this does sort of make sense. Although given Edelgard's anti-church and crest mindset it might be hard to convince both her and Rhea to get along. Although if anyone can do it it would probably be Byleth.

I just wanna point this out; I don't hate either Edeleth or Rhealeth. Both leaders are kinda evil in my opinion, but that doesn't matter much. What does matter is that this is how I interpret the division between the Crimson and Azure routes; a love rivalry! Hehehehe.
