The morning after doing it.

A sleepover. Doing a sleepover.

I feel like this couple inherently requires the age-gap tag since at the start of the game Mercedes is 22 and Annette is 16.

Another first their ending is the most canon yuri ending out of all none byleth endings.

Nah, Dorothea/Petra is pretty intensely gay plus they don't spend a large chunk of their lives apart.

Yes but with them we get know info except people noting petra loving dorothea more then any one but not their relationship status. On the other hand we know these two separate but come back together and spend the rest of their lives together.

^ In the Japanese version of their ending, it explicitly states that Dorothea and Petra get married.
Apparently this is incorrect, and their Japanese ending is basically the same as their English one.

@Norainhere Do you have a source on that? I've never heard of that from anywhere else and I can't find it anywhere. That would be pretty strange since the west tends to more accepting of gay marriage than Japan.

^Ive seen it mentioned on Twitter and TV tropes, but I’ll have to look for a screenshot of their Japanese ending to confirm it.

I found a screenshot of Dorothea and Petra's Japanese paired ending. This is for the Golden Deer route so I'm not sure if it's different for the other routes, but as far as I can tell this doesn't mention them getting married - just that Dorothea became known as Petra's most beloved person (so basically the same as English). So I was wrong!
