I got a few episodes into the anime because of all the content on Dynasty. And i have some concerns.
Does this really have yuri? Or hint at it?
All i see so far is just death metal and teenage angst (not to mention all the second hand embarrassment i feel watching this)

It's only in the manga the anime doesn't go that far. if you want to skip most of the the awkward parts skip to like chapter 71 the school trip arc is where it start to pick up.

^ It's impossible to understand and appreciate what comes before ch. 69 if someone doesn't read the earlier chapters. The formative subplot involving Imae Megumi has a lot of primary development in those earlier chapters, as one serious example. Also, a lot of the characters who become really important later on are introduced throughout the first part, first as background noise for Tomoko's inner socially anxious hell, then as real characters who actually developed from the start. There's no way to know what the school trip means if you don't know what she went through.
Do NOT skip the first part of the series. Just don't. In other words, don't.

^^ ThatAroAce: The agony of the really jerky and socially distraught Tomoko is a classic of horrific cringe, but nothing that comes afterward makes sense without it. Just grit your teeth and read up to the turning point at ch. 69. The anime is wonderful, and watch it, but read the manga.
The subject of this particular piece - Tomoko's relationship with her kouhai Shizuku - is absolutely dependent on her relationship with her angelic upperclassman Imae Megumi, who she gets to know in the chapters going up to ch. 69.
The yuri content all consists of the erotic currents running between teenaged girls, lesbian or not. It radiates in all directions, most of which probably won't turn into something real, but it's very natural and the mangakas are great about not baiting or yanking chains. Just read it.

ThatAroAce: the anime does contain a few scenes heavily implying that Tomoko swings both ways, but not much in actual yuri content, most of which is from later in the manga.

I said they could skip it because they side their watching the anime and kie, yu, and senpai all show up in the anime. Forgot if anyone else important interact with her before that in the manga that didn't show up in the anime Also about them showing she might be bi earlier I know there's a scene where there are girls talking about a hot guy and her going to see him and then thinking hes nothing special. And then right after some boy where talking about some girl with big boobs and after going see her it made her day.

i wouldn't say that you shouldn't skip the beginning of the manga just because you could lose some 'yuriness' subtex in, but because you could lose the character development of Kuroki, which I honestly think is the main attractive element of the series... which also kinda fits in the yuri subtext but whatever.
It's probably a translation error, but I do love "absolute cutest best" as a phrase.

I actually like the fact that with the obvious exception of Uchi, Tomoko's friends accept Shizuku. They seem to know that both Tomoko and Shizuku benefit from this junior/senior relationship.

You don't skip part on anything especially Jojo and Watamote.
In the anime, she's bisexual but in denial. And that's not the worst thing she's in denial about. She does have physical encounters with/staring at/saying wrong things about Yuu. And her first ray of hope comes from one of the girls.

@Marion Diabolito she did pervy stuff to yuu since the 1st day they met
in middle school and keep on doing it till the last time she appears in the manga.
-touched another girl's boobs in middle school thinking it was yuu.
-looking on girl's skirts
-on the field trip while in the onsen she was looking at the girls
-on the same field trip she was thinking sexual stuff while looking at nemo's butt
-well and the other known events , touching yoshida's boobs and crotch , looking at ucchi while she takes a bath then looking under her skirt , the nemo parts , the yuri parts.
-i still cant forget that part where she scratch nemo's back and just sits there in the bathroom saying "yeah..."
I think she is a turbo lesbo in denial or a bisexual.
