Hopefully everything will end nicely tonight with the the last epîsode. No major death of anyone, nobody hadto sacrifice for anything and Hibiki/Miku live happily together forever after.

Part of me is still mad they don't explicity said it on screen but whatever. Nobody die so it's fine in itself. Ova will just be the cherry on top, considering Ova Miku is very thirsty.

Its very clearly canon though, there really is no other way to interpret that ending... Sure it was left on a cliff hanger for the actual confession, but there is nothing else it could've been.

i mean, i won't deny it because you must be in serious denial about HibiMiku relation to think they're just friends and the last scene wasn't a teasing for a confession.

I watched the last episode.. seriously after all that build up they let them remain as Friend given everything which happened... cmon i was expecting some sort of kiss or confession at the end this anime seriously baited with the whole Yuri subtext and undertones

@Zeffy101 did we watch the same episode? Multiple times Miku's "True feelings" were mentioned, as well as Hibiki saying it to... Plus the after credits scene with them has them about to confess to each other but it faded it out before doing it on screen.

Yes they left the confession to interpretation sure it hints that they are a couple but why not throw a true confession and at least a romantic kiss to finally summarise everything up to this point? so much build up for a vague response which leaves the viewer to 'imagine' the outcome. I really expected them to be officially cannon. Well regardless i hope any OVA that comes out will at least share a decent moment together.. but yeah im not sure what to expect, it was a great series

well...my expectations for the yuri canon was expected...nothing concrete but the subtext is strong enough.
i wonder whats stopping studios just making it canon. (maybe not to upset waifu people...)

Unfortunately Waifu and Harem trash are the mainstream... Its what the majority want and consume and it will mean that characters with actual personalities instead of being self inserts and story lines which make sense are a distant dream.
Every now and then we get a good Yuri adaptation, but those are rare and far between.

it infuriates me that companies are abusing the Yuri genre simply for clickbait (money) or views on their shows..
the only decent yuri genre shows i appreciated in the past few years was Bloom into You, Citrus and Netzuo Trap simply because they are all manga to anime adaptation. There was another OVA kase something i forgot the name which was also very cute innocent too. I really enjoy yuri genre not specifically for hentai or erotic but purely for a good story/drama and focus on character development for its romance. Like example kuzu no honkai was another great show which showed realism in a pseudo relationship.
From what iv seen recently like examples KyoAni with Euphonium they are abusing the yuri undertones to gain their views/money and Symphogear is similar to what KyoAni is doing.. it really pisses me off that they try to make out things are going to be a 'legit canon romance' when it isnt. A vast majority of anime will have this thrown at its audience and people do stick around being hopeful thinking yes it might actually happen and by the end they will pull the plug and say NOPE never gonna happen. I mean they have more Yaoi than they do with Yuri genre..
its a shame i want to enjoy a really nice anime about a dramatic love interest something with action (like super natural or fighting with powers) i dont know anything but at least be faithful to the genre if your going to add Yuri at least do it properly. I was disappointed with how Symphogear had ended, I expected more. Anyway rant over.. lol sorry
