should I watch this? I have seen a lot of it here but never picked any up, is it a good show? Not just with Yuri Goggles.

I never got past the few episodes (gotta restart sometime) but I liked it and the characters are definitely gay (the mc seems fond of big breasts, for example).

It is very gay.
Strike Witches has more content in that vein,but Waltrud and Edytha from Brave Witches are a canon couple. Implications are implied and then the commercial cut-in card in episode 8 shows them in bed together, its not really elaborated on and you kinda need to look at side materials to put two and two together but they've been stated to be canon by the creator iirc. World Witches isn't for everyone though, but I love it personally.
