Low-Rez hides the fact that Asuka's head is tilted unnaturally and the cup doesn't quite line up with her mouth.
Then, Fuuka makes the terrible mistake of asking about Tomoko and the boob-grope incident. She is so obsessed that she doesn't notice Asuka's fangs coming out.

Technically speaking, the attitude the shipping artitst attirubte to Asuka is kind of more applicable to Yuri, who seemed to take it the hardest, at least as a resulf of the camera fixing on her the most.
The "Asuka is in a serious Tomoko withdrawal" side is mostly a testament to how hard of an impact she made in the fandom as of late. She only showed up in two pages in last chapter, and a single panel flueled all this.
