I watched the anime about 5 years ago and I just recently played the game. I already liked the pairing back then but the game gives way more implications even if there aren't supposed to be implications. There was one scene where Aoi asked Sakura to stay in her room to protect her and I'm quite surprised there's no doujins on that plot point there. Sakura always protects Aoi, vice versa, you get the point. Aoi even mentions her at the end when they're leaving, Makoto didn't even do that and he considered everyone his friend. I haven't completed Sakura's report card yet but I saw someone said if you pick a certain option Sakura gets mad at you for shipping them which killed my hope for the ship but I suppose the plot should've done that already. Sorry for the tangent, these two are just my favorite lesbian ship ever.
