Shouldn't this technically be incest? Since both are built on the same frame and are implied to be twins.
Which makes me wonder, are all the Armalite girls sisters? Sometimes the dialogue hints at this, other times it doesn't.

^Kinda sort of. Later in the story there's hints that the AR team is unique. In universe the AR team and Squad 404 are the only ones of their kind, though 404 has access to dummy links.
M4 and Sopmod is a weird case since they are literally the same gun and Sopmods are just attachment kits. Their design references this, but their relation is still unclear. UMP9 and 45's actual relationship is established but it's spoiler territory, and it's much easier for everyone to refer to them as sisters, so it stays.
