Nothin' wrong with a little crack shipping. I don't think most of the social links know each other in this one, outside of party members.
Come to think of it, aren't they in the coffee shop at the same time near the beginning of the game? Clearly not a crack ship, then! Very super 100% canon relationship confirmed!
