@AntagonistChan - I think a set up where Yuu and Sayaka fall for each other while mutually deciding to support Touko together. I think an ending where Touko would want to focus on standing on her own would be workable. Still, and while I don't want to see Sayaka hurt, I like Yuu and Touko too.

I've actually liked this pairing for a while. It's kind of like, "Ok, let the people who actually want to be in a relationship be in a relationship." Not that I think Touko deserves to be alone, but I could see a happy ending where she decides to be alone for better reasons than the ones she currently has.

Edit: That being said, based on the way she has acted, deep down Touko probably wants a relationship too, but she sure is difficult about it.

I've said it before, but there is no chemistry between them. This is a "pairing for pairing's sake" case.
In an alternate world where Touko isn't involved, this could work. But it would require a lot of effort, because they have nothing in common or any reason to get close.
