Not really.. some real life lesbian couples can have 2 feminine girls who knows. It's just most common that their is a more butch one and then the femme. I don't know it just seems like Ymir would be the butch one I mean I couldn't imagine her wearing a skirt.

In my opinion Ymir is more like a tomboy, not a butch. We shouldn't see only her breast dimension.. But, after all, in this couple there isn't a "strong" one, 'cause they're both weak in a certain sense. I can't write more because of spoiler, but I think that. About the muscles.. uhm, you're right, Bluetrode, for me they MUST have more developed muscles, even Christa, who seems a lady so candy and cute.

Reading you guys discussion makes me laugh, no offence everyone, but I'm exactly like Ymir in real life. How you ask? Well I have the same physical body built as Ymir (not kidding) I have some decent 6 packs, tan slim body, and I'm actually taller than Ymir by 2 inches. Not only that, I have a girlfriend whose 5'2" (not as short as Christa but with my height it balances it out), she has white pale skin, green eyes, light brown hair almost to a golden blonde, hates watching zombie movies (in which I'm the total opposite) and other stuff in which I found surprisingly resembling to Ymir and Christa. Anyways I'm the tomboy in the relationship and she's the feminine type. I hope this cleared some of your doubts about couples in real life.
