My crack at the context:
A-chan and mistress B-chan grew up together, but in different social classes. As A-chan grew older, she adopted more responsibilities as B-chan's faithful hand maiden and confidante. Even as time passed and both women settled into their roles in the world, the adoration of each for the other, born in childhood and bred through constant friendship and trust, never waivered. However, A-chan was aware of the common course for women of status and hid her anxiety of an eventual severance of closeness and of their bond built over time as well as she could. The attempts were naturally futile. B-chan could always read her like sheet music.
One morning, when A-chan visited her mistress for morning duties, she postponed a gentle call from sleep to quietly confess her anxieties which, as she recently discovered, blossomed from a love deeper than friendship. During the midst of the monologue, B-chan stealthily rose and delivered a response embodying the surprise, pain, relief, and hope of her matching and reciprocating feelings....

O-O omg thanks for the comments and encouragement @everybody! I'd draw it myself, but grad school. Maybe when I have spare time =]
After re-reading it though, it actually just sounds like another Romeo and Juliet spin off with hints of master x Mel-chan and minus death and melodrama. I'd have to do some more thinking to make it interesting.
