This show worth watching for yuri? If not is it just good in general?

^There is no real yuri focus right now, it's basically just a tribute to Toho monster and giant robot fighting shows. And yes, it's incredibly entertaining.

I know almost nothing about this show but I really like these two's expressions here for some reason, and the locked arms is cute as well.

The closing segment strongly suggests these two have some kind of romantic connection.
There have been shades of it in the story so far.

I haven't watched all the episodes yet, but these two really don't give any fucks about the male characters. well, i doubt any yuri would happen in a shounen anime, but one can only hope.

Re watched some earlier episodes and Rikka (left girl) definitely has a bit of subtext around her. I actually wouldn't doubt if this pairing does get hinted at in the show.

I heard the director said sometging about executive meddling stopping him from having their romance happen in the show, but apparently, it's like Ryuko and Mako from Kill la Kill, confirmed canon by the creators, but not allowed to be shown.

@SPHR wait, Ryuko x Mako is canon? Then why do IraMako fans tell me otherwise?! >:(

@juanelric because some people can't differentiate headcanons from canon, and ship discorse is stupid.
