Am I the only person in the world who hasnt seen Conan? I mean, it was on tv since I was small but I was never interested.

I've seen a few episodes, by which I mean maybe five? My biggest takeaway was "why are there always murders and theft wherever Conan goes?" Like, they visit a ski resort - someone is killed in a locked room. They go on a boat - someone drowns in a locked room. They take a train - someone is killed in a locked car.
I think Conan is the actual murderer guys

^ That's not even remotely the weirdest things in Conan universe
After around 10 Christmas, 10 New Years, Conan and his friends still stuck in primary school. That is the most ridiculous things in that universe
Btw, I didn't realise I need Ayumi x Haibara in my life until now

I used to read it as a kid because my older siblings also read it. I liked the older volumes more because the mysteries actually scared me and my siblings, so it was interesting. By the time it got to like the 30th volumes it got staled and I was only reading hoping it will end soon. My wish didn't come true.

Huh? Did Conan and Ai eventually return to their old bodies permanently or is this just the artist messing around?

^probably not since Ayumi seems older so I guess they got stuck as kids and just grew up normally? xD

Haibara and Ayumi really make a great couple. If Haibara returns to her normal body then it's an age gap too.

So far I've seen what's up on Netflix UK and a bunch of the first episodes, though I probably won't have to strength to marathon all 900 or so current eps anytime soon. If you like 1-2 ep length murder mysteries, it's a fairly decent watch in bursts.
You'd think all these kid friends of Conan would be permanently scarred with all the death happening around them (heck, the first episode literally has a guy's freshly severed head landing in front of them).

@BugDevil: IIRC there's one episode/OVA where Conan for some reason has a very vivid dream depicting an alternate reality where he was always Conan Edogawa, Shiho Miyano was always Ai Haibara, and both had grown up alongside the Detective Boys as a tighly knit group of friends, with the dream "starting" in the middle of their high school years.

Give me more!!
Honesty I really wish someone could do an fanfiction of early 20s Ayumi using her detective skills in surprising Haibara with knowledge of her past and Conan turning back to Kudo.
Would love the tension and drama!

@MarqFJA87 Wow, that sounds pretty neat. Honestly, the author should have just committed to returning them to normal after halfway through the manga. It would definitely have been refreshing (not that I read it in years).
