Nintendo does let you be gay in Fates... as long as you're happy with the THREE specific gay options (and TWO of those three are version-specific). But, at least the main lesbian option is basically Tharja 2.0, so there's that.

Forrest maybe given how feminine he looks? I've never played the game so I'm just speculating.
Edit: I think the poster is remembering this incorrectly. From what I've read there's only two gay options one for male and one for female.

Soleil's primary character trait is that she flirts with girls, but she can't actually marry any of them (unless you hack your game). A lot of her supports were written pretty weirdly and not particularly well in general.
