This deserves an anime.

But... but... it's just STARTING!

Who cares? We want to see animated Seto in a too-tight schoolgirl blouse, and in a swimsuit, and in a top-and-jean-shorts combination, and we want to see those humongous boobs jumping and jiggling and bouncing!

Just the other day we found Liane has zero resistance to praise.
Today we find she has zero resistance to taunt.
....
Let's just say she has zero in charisma and invested no points at all in social skills.

god bless Aweida for their shorts about gals being pals…

Amen!! (stands in faith and prays fervently)

nothing beats borderline sexual like a pair of very platonic girl-friends!

Soon they may even become... super friends!

"I regularly imagine having organs that I don't, and what it would be like to have someone lick them."

Huh. Well, she wouldn't be the first one.

It's ok as long as it leads to greater intimacy with your female friend. And then you can explore the alternative possibilities -- you know, using the organs you do have.

It works even if you are a kitty and a bird.

Ok I'll bite: who are Kitty-san and Birdie-san? I'm guessing it's a rather ancient manga because art style is really old school.

Damn you, Xiao Lu! TongTong can finally spend some quality time with her mom, what she had been wanting to do for so long...
... but she can't enjoy herself at all because of Xiao Lu's mind tricks!
Damn you, Xiao Lu! Damn you to heck!

All's fair in love and war.

This manga is a yuri variant of those books of romance fiction for women where the medieval peasant girl is made captive by a strapping viking raider and taken to his castle as a slave, then falls in love with him.

Maybe I'm projecting my own feelings here, but...

Yes you definitely are. XDDDDDD
I feel like I know more right now about what floats your boat than I know about most of the women in my life, lmao.

Oh for... how much of a namby-pamby pushover can Koiko be? Afraid that a smaller, younger girl will kill her, and begging for her life... I feel like yelling to her: "You're the sempai, dammit, show some guts!"

Small mistake in page 126 last panel: it says, 'since my friend K couldn't be honest about her feelings, she ended up alone' but it should say 'my friend N' because it's about Nika not Koiko.

The best thing about school life manga: how the mcs will solve all their problems by themselves, no needing the help or intervention of any stupid smelly grown-up old fart.

The funniest thing about manga forums in Western countries: how everyone and their uncle will scream hysterically for a grown-up, any grown-up, teacher, copper, therapist, whatever, to come and solve the problems of these kids with a masterful display of adult authority!

It's the influence of American teen movies and American sitcoms. The Hays code is no more, but there are plenty of unwritten codes that the producers enforce savagely. "Grown-ups rule" is one of them.

Oh shit, I feel like the next chapter will be dramatic. Also, am I the only one who find Nika's pervert sense hilarious?

I know people have wondered why Koiko doesn't just cuff Nika on the head, tells her stealing is wrong and takes her notebook back. There have been so many times when the two were alone with Nika waving the notebook under her nose and she had a perfect chance to do it, yet she never even tried to yank it from her hands, so it's reasonable that you wonder what's wrong with this girl. Well, there's the answer now: Koiko is a masochistic bottom who actually loves being teased and dominated by a younger girl. It's gotten to the point where Nika started appearing in her masturbatory fantasies to chase prez away! Pity that Koiko is too dense to figure it, or to realize that if a certain chick you claim to dislike actually keeps popping up in your mind every time you shlick, that's your subconscious trying to tell you something.

In the novel, Marika says she will never date Aya because she's not that "type" of girl (a lesbian) and Aya replies that it doesn't matter because she can make any girl fall madly in love with her no matter what her "sexual type" is. Yep, that's right: het, bi, queer, gay, whatever they are, Aya gets all the girls, like pokemons!

Course maybe she didn't mean it: it could have been just a smooth line to impress Marika. From that angle it works great, it makes Marika breathless as she thinks WOW, Aya is such a CHAD!

In another piece of evidence, if more now was required, of my rather juvenile sense of humor the name of this Australian geographic feature amuses me far more than it should OTL

If having a juvenile sense of humor is wrong, I don't want to be right. :P

I'm pretty sure they made a joke about that in Ichigo Mashimaro. Miu found the place called Eromanga in a map and was highly amused by it.
Don't regret your sense of humor, you are in good company.

If Koyuki had lost weight and gotten in shape after several weeks of binge eating cake and ice cream, now that is what I would have regarded as really bad health advice, lol.

It's not outside the realm of possibility that there are mangas out there where this happens.
Heck who am I kidding: it's 100% certain there gotta be some mangas where the lead binges on junk food, then becomes fit and athletic because of it, then as a bonus gets superpowers too. Anything you can think of, some Japanese dude thought of it before you and made a manga of it. That's a rule.

The epitome of "I dont know if I wanna be her or be with her"

It's just that!
The thing that happens to Nacchan isn't a problem of societal pressures. Nacchan was jealous of Kyouko, all those who wrote that got it right. At first she was elated to have someone so cool liking her, then she started resenting her for being continually better than her.

It's very telling (and from a narrative pov even heavy-handed) that all chapter long Nacchan keeps calling Kyouko cool, so cool, super cool... and at the same time she keeps calling Ryunosuke lame, lamer, the lamest. When she has to pick a lover, who does she choose? Ryunosuke.

She chose the one who doesn't give her feelings of inadequacy/inferiority. As a psychology case, it's textbook. As is her sorrow later when she realizes she let her complexes screw up her good judgement as she loves Kyouko not Ryunosuke.

Time for Mai to start a intense program of martial arts sex training in order to WIN! XD

Not enough time up to the end of this single-volume story.

Anyone besides me laughed when Mai woke up smooching her pillow? It happens a lot in fiction: somebody dreams about kissing and wakes up giving passionate kisses to their pillow. It's funny but I'm curious to know if it really happens in real life? It seems unlikely to me. I know for sure that I never did it.

You don't get to be the one to say that when you were the source of the problem in the first place.

Yes I do, because the source of the problem is Cherokee and now by extension you, who keep defending their random harassment of another user as if it was in any way justified.

May I volunteer to be the one who said that? Let's just assume I am the one asking everyone to drop this debate, then drop the debate and be done with it.

Now, can we please get back to talking about the big-butt hamster yuri?

Yes. Please.
Whether a group of people can appropiate two common words of the English language and forbid everyone else to use those words in any way but their own makes for an interesting discussion, but this is not the right place. Let's preserve the relaxed ambience of this forum as a haven for free and friendly talk.

Because she's prudent and levelheaded and absolutely doesn't want to get it wrong.

Are you really going to call her level-headed after this chapter?

Thing is, up to that point, she was being level-headed and acting like a reasonable person.
Later in the final scene of the chapter it kinda goes downhill and it's a mess but it's also very much in-character so we can't complain.

I kinda understand what you're saying but I'm still confused on the trope shattering part. What do you mean by trope: shattered?

Morter explained it very well. I'm just going to add a bit:
In yuri manga, there are certain tropes or clichés that you find everywhere, in every story, and it gets very tiring. Some are clichés that come from standard romcom, others are clichés specific to the yuri genre, but all are re-used time and again by almost all authors. This is because these tropes are assumed to be old, proven and tried methods to create conflict, thrill and drama, and their purpose is to keep the readers interested.

I guess it works well with most readers (since authors keep using these old tropes) but some people think it's boring to meet the same copy-pasted situations in hundreds of different manga. In this forum there is often complaining about that. The special thing about Useless Princesses is that the author seems to want to make a point to avoid those tropes. At least a dozen times in the story it looked that a plot development was going to fall in the pattern of a cliched trope and then it was masterfully avoided, usually by the means of using communication to clear misunderstandings. That's what I mean by shattering tropes.

Same thing here: one girl says "suki!" or "I love!" and because it's open to more than one interpretation (see my message before this) the other thinks that it can't be a confession of romantic love, it must mean something else. But instead of persisting in the misunderstanding she demands an explanation so that all ambiguity is cleared. And she gets exactly that. Another old cliché bites the dust, and this story keeps racking up an impressive list of shattered tropes.

Shattering tropes: the manga!

This time, we shatter the trope where one character says "Suki!" or "Suki da!" (which means "I love!" but doesn't specify who or what) and the other character thinks the first one means they love rainy days, or evenings, or pastries, or kitties, or any other thing around them.

Or thinks the first character is using the word "suki" with a different meaning (it seems there's a lot of stuff in Japanese that can be said with "suki" and some of these meanings are very rude and aggressive).

Or understands that yes the first character does mean "love" and yes is telling it to them, but thinks that the love at issue must be friend-like love or sibling-like love or parent-like love.

In this chapter, one girl says "Suki!" and the other one, next time they are alone, demands an exact explanation of the meaning of this declaration. Because she's prudent and levelheaded and absolutely doesn't want to get it wrong.

In this way, no misunderstanding is possible. Trope: shattered.

Im goona take a shot through the Fog

Miko was indeed a Miko, however she has died (maybe during a failed exorcism) and the Miko er see now is a shrine spirit in disguise

She's... something. Not a normal human being. But I can't say what ftm. Until we have more clues, I keep my guesses for myself.
