Adressing passable femboys by he/him is pretty cringe, ngl.

1) The ability to pass does not reflect a person's pronouns or gender. Using someone's presentation to determine their pronouns is actually really shitty.
2) Pronouns and presentation are not causally linked. You can be fem and use he/him. You can be masc and use she/her. Same with any other combination of presentation and pronouns.
3) irl femboys use all sorts of pronouns. The correct pronouns are determined by the individual and that's beginning and end of that.
4) Giving a shit about cringe is the greatest cringe of all.

A lot of character development put into a one shot without it feeling rushed. Very nice!

I think that literally may have been one of the best epilogues I've ever seen or read or heard. A lot of emotional content in just one chapter that shows that the characters' lives are continuing to evolve but that the central conflict is truly resolved.

It's one of those things where the problem isn't in a person feeling that way, or in a specific work having a character be that way, it's the pattern of it appearing relatively often in queer fiction

for example, there are irl gay people who are bad. And a gay villain isn't an inherently bad character. But the fact that there are many gay-coded villains is bad.

Until the epilogue sequence, I was sure we were getting one or two more chapters lol. I didn't hate it, but I agree that this ending was quite rushed. Not terribly, we've all seen so much more I think, but yeah, another one or two chapters would have been better imo
