what does shipping mean?

It's a word that creates childish arguments about fictional characters over the internet.

It is certainly capable of causing otherwise intelligent individuals to devolve into stubborn, prideful, bickering fools, but not always. I have borne witness to quite a number of civil discussions concerning various pairings. But I digress. Shipping, my friend Catalyst, is a common pastime of many fans of many works. As much as I would love to delve into the topic, I have not the time and the comment section of a random LL doujin may not be the best place. Also, I believe tvtropes describes the phenomenon best anyway. If reading is not your thing, there is an awesome AMV on youtube that sums it up nicely.

Addendum: I should clarify that shipping in and of itself is not banned here, just shipping wars. Basically, if you don't like a particular pairing, don't read doujin tagged with said paring. Please be respectful of those who do enjoy said pairing.

Maki uses the most obnoxious handle name of them all in Line.

To me it feels like something Rin, Nico and/or Nozomi set up for her. As in the little tsundere had no intentions of joining the chat group and didn't have a LINE account anyway, so one (or multiple) of the troublemakers set up an account. Maki begrudgingly joined and has been too lazy to change the screen name since. She will never admit it publicly, but she actually enjoys the chat now that she is a part of it.

Or it could be something completely different. I dunno, that's just my head canon.

Been reading a lot of Ooshima Tomo's work have you? ^_^
From my experience, as NicoMaki trash, delving the depths of doujin and fanfic, Nico has been most commonly presented as the instigator. As such, Tomo's presentation of Maki on the assertive side seems to be the welcome deviation. I could be wrong about all this, as again, this has only been my own observation.

As far as this doujin is concerned, I truly cannot get enough of Karuha's work. Safe or not safe for work, I care not; more please!

I have lived this doujin, playing Maki's role. I am thankful the young woman I was dating at the time played Nico's part and was appreciative of the effort I put in rather than, what I viewed as, the dismal results.

Once again Karuha presents us with a fantastic story with adorable art. I look forward to the next chapter.

Of course it was hard to pick up the documents, because that would mean they would have to stop kissing ^_^

Maki let her hair grow and Nico is sporting only a single ponytail. I like it.
