a little more than an hour left... if it's not late today... the tension increases, breathing speeds up
On a regular work day I snooze my 5 alarms like 10 times. But on a Sunday every cell in my body is so excited that I wake up at 4 in the morning... involuntarily. How is that even possible? How could one manhwa have this effect on me? I've been rolling around on my bed for an hour trying to get back to sleep but i can't. I need FF now..NOW.. FUCKING NOW!!
LOL! I woke up with EXACTLY SAME THOUGHT TODAY!
If only I could be excited like that every day, life'd be great.
So the question now is time skip or no time skip? Will the night continue? Or will the next morning jump in with more exciting possibilities? The increasing heart beat at the end of last chapter excited me. I can't remember the last time Ssamba used it, but it's really rare. The only moment I remember was when No-rae saw the pretty Seol-a in the morning of the exhibition.
Edit: Ok, so I searched Halmoni's pastebin and found 2 other times the sound of heart beat was portrayed: an irrelevant one in Ch 33, and the other time was Seol-a's getting anxious before her confession ch 48.

Haha the gif is really cute, it's basically how my week has been going, waiting for FF. Gosh I do have a job
But I'll utilize my beauty sleep to help these final moments go faster tonight.
May we rejoice in Seolrae in 9 hours and 34 minutes only if Ssamba's not late again
@takachi, you're dreaming too much lol
haha, that's actually a great idea, gonna go sleep for the marvelous epic fluttering Sunday to come!
Sweet dreams my dear. See you in less than 12 hours
but from FF, is the -A and -Rae honorifics too?
No, that's their name Seol-A or Seola, and No-rae or Noh-rae.
So if they don't use honorifics in FF, that must apply to the rest of the Korea too right? Of course they stop using it after becoming friends or close with each other at least. But not going as far as dropping it only after they marry each other. At least this is what it seems to me, but I could be wrong.
I always had a feeling they're using this to make Sungi and Sumin relationship look more sexy though. They don't use honorifics because they are the same age, same status. If they are not, they will be using honorifics. Like how No-rae calls Sung-pyo "Sung-pyo oppa", in japanese it's equivalent to "Senpai", i think. No-rae and Sung-pyo's relationship went as far as Sungji and Sumin but she till calls Sung-pyo with "oppa". If I'm not mistaken, in Korea, it's rude to call someone older than you or more superior than you by their name alone without honorifics. Like in japanese you don't call a person by their first name unless you're close. I don't know much about Korean honorifics, but I think Halmoni did explain it here somewhere.
Suzuma
Thank you for sharing the information! The A in Seol-A is a part of her name though, it's not a honorific, same as "-Rae" in No-Rae. That explains why your brother haven't heard of such honorifics xD
I think sunbae is more equivalent to senpai. Oppa is more of an endearing term, for closer relationships.
Sigh. I miss them.
My favorite of all time. Why did they give up yuri? *crying*
I sink with my delusional ship
-insert Dido song here- XD
White Flag
Another release day eve, another comic (but I think I'm all comicked out now, really). It's a not-comic comic this time (at least not intentionally)... though I couldn't help but add a small joke ending at the end of the post.
I think I went a little too cheesy for this one, but I hope it's still palatable, enjoy :) See you guys on the other side...
You should break down the image before posting on tumblr cipp
Even tho I can't read the words yet, awesome coloring
So I read it... hahahahhaha more *thump* *thump*
killing me
I loved your alternate joke
Awesome work as always

Yeah, I have really high hopes for next 2 chapters (especially ch 65). I'm holding my breath.
But I don't mind them being crushed. I'm already a die-hard fan haha.
No matter what you do to me, I'll be with you 'til the end of time, Ssamba-nim.

If I ever fall in love with a younger girl with big age gap, these would be one (or all) of my reasons:
- Everything she does seems cute and fascinating to me.
- Despite her young age, she sounds more mature than I had expected. We could talk about a lot of things.
- Being with her makes me feel so young all over again.
Sumin don't seem to share any of my reasons. So I can't relate and I can't imagine how that would work in longer terms.
TEAM PINK FORVER! lol jk I'm not on anyone's team. Please just give me a good dramatic story

Cute, but Reika was kinda rude. When you love someone in that way, you pay attention to them and their feelings.
This. Exactly.
+1
If Reika is one of those people who don't show their emotions by default, she should at least pay attention to the other. She said she liked the blond, but she gave her necktie away so easily. And she just went away with the others to celebrate. If it were me, I'd excuse the 2nd round to the karaoke after the blonde made an expression like that, saying they need to talk.
She's not necessarily in love with the blonde, she's just one of those people who don't give a lot of thoughts to things, and tends to go with the flow in general.
Oh I like her. She seems to like me. I happened to live alone next year. If we're dating, we might as well live together. Its what people who are dating do, right?
I like Sumin x Sungji because they're pretty and cute. But that's about it. Sometimes I wonder if it's Team Gaji's intention. Maybe the authors actually want something else for Sumin, not Sungji. But if they intend for Sumin x Sungji to be the end game, it's been not enough at all and they need to try harder.
What bothered me the most was the lack of common ground between Sumin and Sungji. When I first knew they were 10 years different in age, I thought to myself that this would be interesting. I imagined them to be on different sides of the river and we will be shown the progress of how they would sail on their boats or walk across the bridge to meet each other in the middle. But so far I see no solid bridge was being built, nor no good boats for them to sail on. They've both been driven by mere attraction/lust to each other. And it's like high school love. I know a lot of readers are teenagers or quite young adults, so they're fine with it. But the fact is that WDTFS is an adult comic, and Sumin is a 34 year old woman; so I expect a lot more than the beauty of first love that's being portrayed here.
Anyone who's been through a few serious relationships would know that it takes more than love to last or be happy with each other. You need common ground: shared core values in life, mutual interests, hobbies, complementary personalities, etc. But so far I was left with no impression that they have any. I tried to re-read WDTFS to make my points, but could only bring myself to read 3-4 chapters. So feel free correct me if I get the details or anything wrong. I know Sungji likes movies, while Sumin only watched news (despite the fact that she has a whole theater room). Sungji likes cute stuff while Sumin has no care for it. Sungji is young while Sumin is old haha. Sungji likes what young people like, spend their dates at the theme parks, kissing in the movies, etc. while Sumin seemed like she was dragged into doing all those things. In the end, Sumin had fun because she got to spend time with Sungji, but not because she cared for any of those things.
What sucked was the whole cotton candy memory with Seju was shown in between the moments of Sumin x Sungji.
It was Seju's first time eating cotton candy. Comparing their "first times", Sumin x Seju had so much more chemistry to me.
Sumin might be changing, but like Suzuma said Sungji has stayed the same. Maybe someone should use ask.fm and tell Team Gaji to put more attention to Sungji's character development lol
Below is a fandub for the scene where Seol-a was laying in her bed after hearing Yu-ji's news, thinking about Yu-ji and No-rae (ch 42)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HS3hCaFTeoc
The way she called No-rae at the end just gave me goosebumps
I love all Momono Moto's works. I'm glad they're still working on it. I saw the raw; this series needed a lot of translating and cleaning to do. Thanks a lot of bringing this to us.
Reading this chapter made me have a knot in my stomach, feeling really sad. For real. So much angst.
thatotherhobby just shared a video they made from No-rae's POV:

I thought the song went so well with it.
Flying High by Jem
You can’t know, oh no, you can’t know
How much I think about you, no
It’s making my head spin
Looking at you, and you are looking at me
And we both know what we want
So close to giving in
Feel so nice, oh yeah you feel so nice
Wish I could spend the night
But I can’t pay the price
Oh no, no
But I’m flying so high
High off the ground
When you’re around
And I can feel you’re high
Rocking me inside, it’s too much to hide

TGIF, there's less than 48 hours left. I'm fcking nervous and anxious.
Anyone living in the United States have read the letter Apple published yesterday? FBI wants to Apple to create a backdoor to hack into any iPhone. That's just unbelievable. We must act now or dystopia will be our future
http://www.apple.com/customer-letter/
A Message to Our Customers
The United States government has demanded that Apple take an unprecedented step which threatens the security of our customers. We oppose this order, which has implications far beyond the legal case at hand. This moment calls for public discussion, and we want our customers and people around the country to understand what is at stake.
The Need for Encryption
Smartphones, led by iPhone, have become an essential part of our lives. People use them to store an incredible amount of personal information, from our private conversations to our photos, our music, our notes, our calendars and contacts, our financial information and health data, even where we have been and where we are going. All that information needs to be protected from hackers and criminals who want to access it, steal it, and use it without our knowledge or permission. Customers expect Apple and other technology companies to do everything in our power to protect their personal information, and at Apple we are deeply committed to safeguarding their data.
Compromising the security of our personal information can ultimately put our personal safety at risk. That is why encryption has become so important to all of us.
For many years, we have used encryption to protect our customers’ personal data because we believe it’s the only way to keep their information safe. We have even put that data out of our own reach, because we believe the contents of your iPhone are none of our business.
The San Bernardino Case
We were shocked and outraged by the deadly act of terrorism in San Bernardino last December. We mourn the loss of life and want justice for all those whose lives were affected. The FBI asked us for help in the days following the attack, and we have worked hard to support the government’s efforts to solve this horrible crime. We have no sympathy for terrorists. When the FBI has requested data that’s in our possession, we have provided it. Apple complies with valid subpoenas and search warrants, as we have in the San Bernardino case. We have also made Apple engineers available to advise the FBI, and we’ve offered our best ideas on a number of investigative options at their disposal.
We have great respect for the professionals at the FBI, and we believe their intentions are good. Up to this point, we have done everything that is both within our power and within the law to help them. But now the U.S. government has asked us for something we simply do not have, and something we consider too dangerous to create. They have asked us to build a backdoor to the iPhone.
Specifically, the FBI wants us to make a new version of the iPhone operating system, circumventing several important security features, and install it on an iPhone recovered during the investigation. In the wrong hands, this software — which does not exist today — would have the potential to unlock any iPhone in someone’s physical possession.
The FBI may use different words to describe this tool, but make no mistake: Building a version of iOS that bypasses security in this way would undeniably create a backdoor. And while the government may argue that its use would be limited to this case, there is no way to guarantee such control.
The Threat to Data Security
Some would argue that building a backdoor for just one iPhone is a simple, clean-cut solution. But it ignores both the basics of digital security and the significance of what the government is demanding in this case.In today’s digital world, the “key” to an encrypted system is a piece of information that unlocks the data, and it is only as secure as the protections around it. Once the information is known, or a way to bypass the code is revealed, the encryption can be defeated by anyone with that knowledge.
The government suggests this tool could only be used once, on one phone. But that’s simply not true. Once created, the technique could be used over and over again, on any number of devices. In the physical world, it would be the equivalent of a master key, capable of opening hundreds of millions of locks — from restaurants and banks to stores and homes. No reasonable person would find that acceptable.
The government is asking Apple to hack our own users and undermine decades of security advancements that protect our customers — including tens of millions of American citizens — from sophisticated hackers and cybercriminals. The same engineers who built strong encryption into the iPhone to protect our users would, ironically, be ordered to weaken those protections and make our users less safe.
We can find no precedent for an American company being forced to expose its customers to a greater risk of attack. For years, cryptologists and national security experts have been warning against weakening encryption. Doing so would hurt only the well-meaning and law-abiding citizens who rely on companies like Apple to protect their data. Criminals and bad actors will still encrypt, using tools that are readily available to them.
A Dangerous Precedent
Rather than asking for legislative action through Congress, the FBI is proposing an unprecedented use of the All Writs Act of 1789 to justify an expansion of its authority. The government would have us remove security features and add new capabilities to the operating system, allowing a passcode to be input electronically. This would make it easier to unlock an iPhone by “brute force,” trying thousands or millions of combinations with the speed of a modern computer.
The implications of the government’s demands are chilling. If the government can use the All Writs Act to make it easier to unlock your iPhone, it would have the power to reach into anyone’s device to capture their data. The government could extend this breach of privacy and demand that Apple build surveillance software to intercept your messages, access your health records or financial data, track your location, or even access your phone’s microphone or camera without your knowledge.
Opposing this order is not something we take lightly. We feel we must speak up in the face of what we see as an overreach by the U.S. government.
We are challenging the FBI’s demands with the deepest respect for American democracy and a love of our country. We believe it would be in the best interest of everyone to step back and consider the implications.
While we believe the FBI’s intentions are good, it would be wrong for the government to force us to build a backdoor into our products. And ultimately, we fear that this demand would undermine the very freedoms and liberty our government is meant to protect.

Yes I've read today's chapter. Actually it's more or less how I expected it to be. And I think next chapter there is a high chance of them getting interrupted or Sumin stopping for some reason lol.
Lol that'd be too bad. 'Cuz it's truly time. There's nothing else to explore between them anymore. They're dating, and both of them know Sungji is crazy about Sumin. Sumin really likes Sungji yet she's just been really afraid. Then they've talked about it. There's only sex left.
That's the reason why I'm still reading because I'm just really interested in how Team Gaji will take it from here. They kinda had what it takes it in the beginning.
To be honest when I read a romance manga/manhwa/anime whatever, I'm really invested in the romance aspect and the feelings between the main couple. FF is a perfect example of it, it is very well written character and development wise and there is not even a kiss and I don't even mind.
Also Hibike!Euphonium, it was even a yuri bait, but the moments between Reina and Kumiko were amazing, it felt so nice watching them interracting together, I just didn't even care if they didn't kiss or confess, although that wouldn't be bad either.
In my entire time as a yuri fan, I've never been much of a shipper. The last time I shipped yuri in a het anime show was Nana x Hachi, and that was almost 10 years ago lol. Then Kumirei came along. Fudge, the whole anime was perfect. But most of all Kumirei was so beautiful. The chemistry between them was undeniable. The fascination Kumiko had for Reina was built up nicely from the 1st episode. Same for Seolrae. I'd never been a die-hard fan for anything until FF. I thought WDTFS would help my waiting for FF be more tolerable, but this week it doesn't help a bit. The waiting is pure torture
Sex on the other hand, if there is no tension (at least to me) is pointless. WDTFS seems to be going down this route right now. Or it was always like this and I just misinterpreted it.
Right now, and for some chapters ago I'm not very moved by Sumin/Sungji's relationship. I just don't feel the tension that makes me interested to keep on reading further.
You really got it out of my mouth. But I think I've already said somewhere on Dynasty that I'd never gotten turned on by WDTFS sex scenes. It's beautifully drawn, but just pure sex and no tension. There's no built-up for every single sex scene before Chap 41. Personally I thought the tension could be portrayed by good facial expressions and body movements during sex. But team gaji's art style is too clean for that IMHO.
Chap 42 could be slightly an exception because they've been trying to build it up by the past couple of chapters. But I still didn't feel it either.... Ok maybe i did feel it a lil lol
The art and the scenes are very well done and pretty, but besides that the rest of it is lacking in my opinion. Bottom line, it's a personal taste and a lot of people enjoy reading this.
But it would be interesting to hear a different take about Sumin/Sungji's relationship and development.
Yes, it really depends on the readers' personal preference. That's why I like reading the discussion here.
