Is the yuri I normally enjoy as weird to an outsider as this was to me? I have no idea how conditioned I am, but this was a fucking trip.

This is great. Adult NicoMaki is the pinnacle.

So basically a yuri manga, but with the beginning and ending removed, leaving only the good bit. Guess I can live with that.

I mean, it's 10 pages. Here and there something manages to do something remarkable in that space, but this is pretty nice given the length.

I love Momono Moto's angst. Once I've bought into it, little else in yuri is capable of giving me such feels.

This is triumphant. What a time to be alive.

I feel as though the final panel, in which Kagami & Konata are engaging in fully nude sexual intercourse, may slightly overstep the bounds of the ecchi classification.

Those outfits are sexy.

On page two, they appear to be stopped at an intersection. I don't understand why nobody else has noticed this.

The edit was funny, though.

You have it positively backwards, Scovil. The last thing the world needs is more people. An entire generation of ~50% gays would do a world of good for so many of the planet's problems.

This is great, the art really sets it apart but the dialog is good too, it suits them.

Haha, I was so confused. I didn't realize there were flashbacks at first, so I thought her mole was switching sides at will.

Maki's response is magnificent.

This is exactly why the length should be irrelevant.

You don't need a lot of pages to tell a good story, but it's nice to be able to enjoy something over a longer period of time.

why does this stuff keep getting translated

It's funny because the scanlator seems to be of the same mind. Every release post gets more & more dismissive of the content he'd just dredged through, yet still he persists.

Why are the guys always jerks? I enjoyed this chapter but the tags are rather ominous. I hope the dude gets his hopes dashed fast, but I'm sure that won't be the case.

Sacchan is pretty intense.

For sure. Threw some candy in the river & then waded in after it, like, damn.

This is nice.

It's a little... sad?

It's bittersweet, I think. Student takes the rejection in stride & chooses to cherish the moment anyhow (Student isn't thinking of the flowers when she agrees it's lovely).

It's a situation which is usually associated with a lot of angst, handled without any, which is nice.

As someone not invested in Touhou, I'm glad this was featured, I probably never would have read it otherwise. Will definitely look into some of the author's other works.

Can anyone recommend any similar stories or authors? There is too much 2hu for me to even begin to know where to look.

This is really bad, haha. I stopped halfway but had to keep reading to get to the "making sex" comment.

Concept is kind of similar to the first story of Fleurir, but like a campier version.

we must address the yaoi hand on page 23 immediately

Dare I ask what a yaoi hand is...?

Enjoy

Holy crap, I'm in stitches. Some of these are incredible.

This trend of yuri coming in from different countries is really encouraging. It feels like a new dawn is breaking.

Kudos to the translators! Some kinda harsh comments here, but it's a good first effort. I look forward to seeing more.

That teacher was actually pretty horrible. Like seriously? Mistreats the child the entire year (even says she's not good enough to be a princess, like I get it was an accident, but SERIOUSLY!? You said that TO A LITTLE GIRL!?) and then manages to completely forget she's leaving and make her feel horrible...Like when the narrator was was talking about when the teacher said she really, really liked her, that "she may have even meant the opposite." Yeah, I agree. I think your teacher actually kinda hated you lol.
Damn tho...such a good little girl...the world needs more children like this one...

I don't think "meant the opposite" was the main character saying that the teacher hated her. Rather, it's just that the main character realized that the teacher's tears and sadness were more a love for herself than a love for her students. For the teacher, her heart has always been with her own image and responsibility as a teacher. She would unknowingly break the dreams of her student just so that she could have an easier time teaching. She never had a place in her heart for the main character. The teacher's sadness was really from betraying herself, and not because she actually cared.

How the main character reacted was really admirable though. Love produces nice things.

This is a great interpretation, I agree.

How old is the narrator, I wonder? She's awfully insightful - moreso than I would be, I think.

I hope this doesn't get licenced too... I won't be able to buy it in my country, and I can't order anything from other countries either x__x (fuck my life D:)

It's not that unlikely, you may as well download the chapters from here while you've got the chance.

Finally got around to reading this, I think the first time I've read a yuri series after putting off picking it up until it was finished. Very enjoyable, lots of funny moments, good dynamic between the two, & they were both pretty likeable. It was maybe a bit too slapstick, but the final confession bits at the end were pretty heartfelt.

If there was one thing missing, I'd say it was a couple other interesting characters. There's no Tamamin or Sugi in this, though Kanbe-San is pretty cool.
