we need to value more mangas like these where the couple actually acts like adults. Open communication and lack of unecessary misunderstandings, we love it

it might be paranoia talking but i trust no one in this story. They are captivating, but i feel they have some fucked up stuff beneath their sleeves, i cant vouch for anyone

wait, did i miss something? werent there supposed to be a big conversation after the whole conflit and buildup of Chikane trying to kiss himeko while she slept and how it made things weird and angsty and stuff? I mean, it has been some time since the story was updated, but i'm not sure it is that case. It really feels as if the plotline was dropped and the author didnt develop their character, they just went back to where they were for no reason and it was all for nothing.

^^^ You mean Caroline? I mean, the game is 10 years old, i don't think people will be so bothered about spoilers after such a long time. The whole point of the second game is to tell that glados, although being orginated from Caroline, develops her own morality and autonomy, different from the programming enforced onto her and Caroline's past trauma. glados refers to herself as glados, not caroline, and she actively refers to caroline in third person and often in an antagonistic manner. I mean, she even said to chell she deleted caroline, and whether it was a ruse or not, it still shows independence from her once human side and programming and the trauma associated with it, as well as her acquired self consciousness.
Additionally, it is an artist rendition and their headcanon.There are some artists that draw human!glados or even android!glados with caroline features, often because they wish to reinforce glados' human origins. However, other artists prefer do draw glados as more similar to her core, also to emphasize her own unique self and to play with their creativity adapting something artificial into organic. Both of them make good points and are valid and do not attack canon in any way (not that it would matter much, fans can interpret however they want).

Authors should subvert expectations not by creating shitty endings after people theorized what was going to happen, but by giving LGBTQ+ characters immunity to death XD Damn i was so excited for the world to come, i love historical lesbian romances ç-ç
