I expected this to be pure comedy. But it actually ended up being really really sweet and also funny <3
And i agree that the way they describe their love is very Kumiko/Reina. Nicely done.
I think i have a problem, cause my reading voices are starting to sound very accurate to their anime voices.
I think i've been rewatching their scenes a bit too much ;p

Chapter 18
I know they will never be anything but sisters, but that FrontPage was kind of sexy (i don't need much) and the second one was cute too. Ayara looks really good in sportswear.
I love this cute manga in which nothing ever really happens.
I trust that this manga will remain a black hole that consumes all melodrama that dares come near without pity.

I echo the people who say that this series has decent characterisation but bad actual story. The drama is dumb, but the whole thing shines when it's trying to actually focus on the main two growing and learning from each other.

I kind of agree. I think Yuzu and Mei have at heart rather cliché characterisations.
How many times can you read a story about a free spirit that has to save an introvert from their life before you get bored?
The story does shine however when any other aspect of their personalities is the focus of the story. Cause that's when they start to act like people instead of cliché's.
I don't think the drama is always dumb. There were dumb bits when they were based on the cliché aspects of their personalities, but some of the drama has been very entertaining and it has been improving since chapter 17 i think. I don't need constant drama anyway. I like Soburouta's humour, she does great comical scenes and there's a lot of great just casual scenes too. There's not nearly enough casual scenes in fiction to my liking. And that is were you get the best character exploration in my opinion.

I hope we'll get more of Yuzu's mom. She's really cute and hilarious.

I bought one of the Seven Seas translations just to try it out.
While some of the text makes a lot more clear what is being said than some of the less brilliant translations on this site, i can't help but prefer some of the more "poetic" translations i've read here and on mangakalot: "Don't push your luck!" somehow doesn't have the same ring to it as "There must be a limit to your misunderstanding!"
Feels nice to be able to read this on paper though, might buy the other ones too.
I'll certainly buy all the later volumes. Everything before chapter 17 has a bit too much cliché content for my liking, but i guess i might buy those volumes too.
Even though the story gets a little cliché at times there is till a lot to love about Citrus.
And i love Saborouta's humour.

Love this series. Well written with respect for every character. It's rare for a drama to not present one or more characters as weak or victimized, especially someone like Hotaru would be written as a powerless victim of events by most other writers. But this girl is cold and confident. It's wonderfully refreshing. i like how each character has it's strenghts and they all have interesting personalities.

Wow, first smile we really see on the lil' sister is when she's wielding a sword-like knife. Talk about giving yandere's vibes for a moment XD

Also, if they keep eating like that every chapter, they gonna get real fat by the end of the story. I recommend them doing regular exercise as well. points toward the bedroom :3

:lol Had the same thoughts.

That's so cute how they both still believe in Santa. I love that, just for underlining why they bond so naturally. They're very similar and both quite naive.
There's not much to this series except the cooking, but it's a nice light read with two cute and funny protagonists. I wouldn't mind if they end up becoming "Moimoro sisters" but it's all good if it's just non romantic affection they feel for each other.

This is cute and funny. I' m not interested in fighting games at all, but the way it's written makes it entertaining. And i like how the characters are written. Hopefully there'll be a chapter five soon.
With the way the girls are drawn i honestly hope this wont become more Yuri later on.
I like this just the way it is. Light entertainment.
