^ The abuse scene and the non-consensual things that followed it looks to be part of the flashback showing Hotaru meeting Fujiwara. If anything, it shows that their relationship has always been abusive and fake....poor Hotaru ; - ;

And yeah, now that you mention it that appears to be the case...hopefully he does end up supporting Yuma and Hotaru being together...actually, if the story is trying to establish that Hotaru and Fujiwara's relatonship was forced from the start, it might be possible for Takeda to be on the side of supporting Yuma finding her own happines. I mean, thinking about it, as much as he loves Yuma, he was willing to break-up with her when he thought that she was forcing herself to be with him; it would be really out-of-character of him to be against Yuma wanting to be with Hotaru.

Personally, I really don't think Kodama Naoko will make both of the male characters in this story turn out to be total pricks, surely only one of them will be the antagonist in all of this.

I think I might've became so immersed in this story that I've actually fallen for Hotaru...I mean, my attention keeps getting drawn to her when looking at my avatar, and all I can think about right now is wanting her to have a happy ending at the end of this story.

I think it looks like things are going well? Yuma is definitely starting to realize her feelings for Hotaru, looks like there's a flashback of how Hotaru and Fujiwara got together (not sure, but it seems like it) and Takeda is starting to realize that Yuma and Hotaru are together...

I need chapter 14 ; _ ; like, soon. Please let this end happily for Hotaru and Yuma...

I want to see this animated, not going to lie.

Since the Jan issue of Yuri Hime comes out today on Nov 18, we should be able to expect more details regarding the anime adaptation by the end of this week (hoping that Kodama Naoko herself is overseeing the series composition of the anime)

Plus, Chapter 13 (and possibly more) should be released anytime now...still ever hoping for that HAPPY END between Hotaru and Yuma.

Just feeling like sleeping lately; already slept most of today at work and then more when I got home. There's a relatively high chance that I am becoming so obsessed with this manga that it's starting to affect my mood a little...

Not feeling the best of days lately.

Not because I'm depressed or anything, but rather, a combination of hope and worry is sapping away my energy - It's an interesting feeling, to say the least.

It's a reference to Hataraku Maou-sama (lit: The Devil is a Part-timer), the protagonist in the story, Maou Satan, works on earth as Maou Sadou at McRonalds...and since I'm nearing 666 posts, you get the point :p

Yuri Hime is becoming monthly this month. The anime is probably being made to promote their new format. Although it's a surprise it's two and no just one. Everyone was expecting Citrus anime, but NTR was a surprise.

Tbh I'm surprised this actually got announced to be animated as well, I didn't even know it was that popular in Japan for an anime to be made.

It's interesting to note, if you check the ratings on NTR you'll see the majority of votes are either 1/10 or 10/10. There is also 7/10. They are extreme reactions, so this shows NTR is something that leaves an impression, whether good or bad.

This is something that I've noticed even here tbh, it's quite a polarizing manga for ppl reading it. Still, impressionable is better than being forgettable, in a way.

I've been posting so much in this thread (relatively) since I read the manga, I'm pretty much enamoured by it at this point.

But that aside, if the anime casts Mayayan (Uchida Maaya) for either of the girls -hoping Hotaru, because I kinda want Mayayan voice a seductive character that'll make my heart melt-, it's getting an instant 10/10 from me.

Actually, I'd also give it an instant 10/10 if Aisaka Yuuka (Kotone in Sakura Trick) gets a role; again, hoping Hotaru because I want to see her voice a seductive character as well.

If they both get the main roles (with one or the other voicing Yuma), Instant AoTY.

It is common practice in writing (yaoi) parings to place seme first and uke second. Actually it is so important in "naming" the paring, that if you mess the order and/or someone don't agree with who is where, you can get insulted and attacked just for that.

^ Looking at the covers of her works, they seem to pretty much say what the series is about; if anything, that should provide some solace that the manga will not have a Het end. Imo anyways.
