I mean Hiroko is terrible too in the original you know. Hiroko is a player in the beginning and she was just playing around with Sono but soon she falls in love with her, so yeah. I like both the original and this spin-off.

Full disclosure, I was vehemently against reading this at first because I was pissed about how the anime ended. I was a fool. This is by far one of the best yuri manga I've read. It's slow burn and angsty as FUCK, given... But, there were so many genuinely sweet and laugh out loud funny moments that I enjoyed the entire thing.

Yea the anime ending sucks. Thank God I read this all the way thoroughly. Still one of my favorite Yuri manga of all time!

In a way, I enjoyed how this story kept us stuck inside Shuuko's head. We really don't know for sure how Kiku feels about the relationship or her future at all; we only know what Shuuko sees, so we share her uncertainty and anxiety.
