Really, though, I found it cute. It might seem less like "a hint of shoujo-ai subtext with a short, cutesy meeting" because there's the het crush, but it's still in the vein of other stories like that. Fun to imagine where it goes from here with Hinata and the black cat.

I can see it now. Ex-played girl comes across a heartbroken protagonist at the little restaurant that tutor takes all the girls to for sweets. She's crying and just staring at the untouched dessert, the same one she shared with her onee-chan when suddenly,

"--You gonna finish that?" It's the ex-played girl, offering her an understanding smile and sitting across from her. She doesn't wait for an answer. Instead she takes a fork and steals some of the dessert. "I was too wrapped up to notice before... but this is more bitter than I remember. Sensei is a harsh teacher after all, isn't she?"

They bond over their x in the traditional korrasami way, then save the world. Or something along those lines.

So we're caught up on the teacher, the best friend, the coworker, the lolicon...
I'm a little worried that we haven't seen Shio yet in these two chapters.

Judging by the disappearance of the girl that Sato "sinned" with, is it safe to say that she's probably killed again?

It really just seems like Sato's psychologically fucked up because of her aunt but really just wants nothing more than what anyone else wants; to be happy. Just in her case that seems to be tied directly to Shio. Honestly I kinda feel sorry for her more than anything so far.

I am really curious about how she ended up with Shio though. And despite the fact Shio's considered missing it doesn't really seem like she misses her family at all so I'm kinda curious about that too.

Me too.... I was so hoping we'd find out in this chapter, but it ended up being hilarious, so I forgive the author.

My personal theory is that Satou is just perpetuating the natural cycle of lesbian lolicon yanderes. When the time comes, Shio will murder Satou and find her own abused loli to rescue and cherish, just as Satou did before her, and Satou's "aunt" before her, going back for generations. It's simply the circle of life.

Except, from what we've seen, Satou was never very receptive to her aunt's form of love. So I'm not sure the situations are going to end up too, too similar, since Shio seems more receptive to Satou. Which makes me wonder what it means that "Satou's love was awakened by her aunt," if she never felt these feelings until she met Shio.

Do we have a rough estimate on how long a volume would take to come out?

I don't mind waiting, but if we go with the magazine option instead for popular consensus, I would be okay with donating towards that.

I love the chapters that progress pairings, but I also love chapters about non-romantic pairs and friend groups like this. It helps make the story feel like one big, connected world instead of disjointed stories about pairs that happen to attend the same school. It makes for a very seamless story in a world that's got a life of its own.

A perfect way to convey the essence of slice of life.

Midori's found someone cute and lively who will treat her right, and Mari and Yuu continue to have a perfect dynamic.

I wonder what Hida's going to do from here on out. She has some general unhappiness in her life, but she may be the only "major" character who doesn't seem to be a yandere (yet?).

Maybe the sins Sato admits will finally give us some answers about her aunt.

74 chapters into this manga I realise this series has no plot.

There is the love triangle, if that counts. Well, it's more than three people involved in it, but still.

Of all the mysteries we have right now, the one I'm most intrigued by is the aunt. I feel like there's probably something more there than meets the eye, especially since we've only seen bits and pieces of memories about her from Sato, and yandere type character aren't always the most reliable narrators.

Yay, the sequel! I love the bittersweet pain as their feelings get closer and closer and they seem to drift farther! I hope it'll have a payoff of a lot of happiness!

I love how Onoda perked up so gleefully when her friends called for her.
