Kinda what everyone was saying above: This whole exposition could have been done in one chapter. I think I get it already. And I think I know what's going to happen. A series of vignettes could have done this in about 20-25 pages and we could get back to the main story line (which is where I'd rather be at).

Maybe Sensei doesn't want to 'sully' her. Which would be such a shame and tried and overused trope. Sully away sensei!

Like, most of the time I love this stuff that gets released, but sometimes I wish the author would stop the story altogether or emigrate to a country where they wouldn't care and would help publish the stuff because it keeps reminding me I won't be seeing the resolution of the story anytime soon (or possibly ever)

My preference for female/female stories has to do with the fact that I'm a lesbian and I LOVE WOMEN WHO LOVE WOMEN. I will literally go out of my way to read/watch anything with lesbians. And I get that's a bias, so what? Not your problem.

(Now trolls who want male/female, go away and read the one billion other choices there are in the world of heterosexual life).

I get this vibe that the authoress is dissatisfied with her current work or is upset about something in her writing and this is what she needs in her life to get her back on track. Finding someone who is truly in love with what she writes and helping give her inspiration.

It's such a gentle moving story. I like it!
