What do mean by the "as if any studio [...]" part?

DEEN is known (and rightfully so) for being an extremely low budget studio and not being able to provide smooth animation/consistent art direction for years, but also for being one of the only studios that does actually pick up most yaoi/yuri titles too, while more successful/wealthy studios basically won't touch these genres, particularly yuri, because it doesn't sell (yes, we know, subtext does, but canon/official yuri premises don't). Truth be told, they animated masterpieces like Simoun, but for a series like NTR which considerably lacks on the story/plot/character department, I wish a studio with a semi-decent budget would be in charge of it.

Oh, it's not, I even like it simple, but these color pallets just looked outright lazy, minimum effort involved, especially in comparison with Naoko's actual colored drawings.

I love SHAFT, I really fucking do. They play with colors and shapes on the backgrounds of their shows and tend to make everything look artsy, a bit hipster if you ask me. But that doesn't mean it will work with every show: Monogatari series, Madoka and Hidamari Sketch were a perfect fit in my opinion, and DEEN tried to play with their art on a SHAFTY way with Sakura Trick as well, which I even found cute, but think would be an awful idea to put in practice for NTR.

Yeah, this screams DEEN. As if any studio with a decent budget would pick up any (actual) yuri show ever. They couldn't even bother adding any sort of shine/shading to their hair whatsoever, great.

I think so, but I think it's mostly because I always pictured him to have black hair for some reason.

I hope they don't try to go full SHAFT on this one like they attempted to with Sakura Trick. While I didn't completely despise it on Sakura Trick, I think it won't fit NTR's style and kind of genre at all.

At first I thought she completely missed the point too, that she was just being an oblivious cunt. But from my perspective her reaction, well, her lack of a reaction, despite showing relief, still came off as if she never valued what they had together.

Indeed, anything remotely similar to a Tamao ending is going to be a huge let down. Especially since Sayaka actually turned out to be such a intriguing yet likable character, not just a "secondary main character who is there to keep the readers entertained as a safe, flexible plot device".

^ Mizusi knows whats up. Still, it would be interesting to see that character in future arcs. Sayaka needs an arc of her own IMO.

Ha, thanks. And I agree with you, I sympathize with her quite a lot and I do wish she doesn't end up completely alone by the end of the story, despite me being fully supportive of the "main" couple. This manga keeps providing my heart some rest, I love it.

In Portugal it's a cultural thing to greet others (mostly family members and females) with two kisses on the cheeks (one on each cheek), I abominate this ever since I was born. I love getting hugged by a reserved circle of people, but I hate that, culturally, we are made to greet others with two kisses. Most men don't have to kiss other men (family/friends) when they meet them, so why would we (girls) have to? Sure, I have the option not to greet anyone that way, but it's extremely frowned upon, just like a Muslim woman not wearing something covering her head.

Also, you should really stop making it seem like Americans are somehow ALL into getting smothered with hugs. Just because it's not a weird thing to display affection in public in the USA it doesn't mean everyone likes to be filled with hugs out of nowhere the entire time.

This is scary to me, as someone who suffered (suffers?) from eating disorders.
