Are you ever intending to return to Deadly Premonition with a new game, and if not what else are you working on at the moment?

Deadly Premonition is always on my mind. But I have no idea what form it’ll take, when it’ll appear, who I’ll work on it with, or how I’ll present it. The only answers are in the coffee.

That basically of yours covers way too much, can you tell me another of those basic subtext where one is openly lesbian with clear interest, with kisses, where they stay close almost all the time and sleepovers? is like you throw away your yuri glasses somewhere through watching Inu x boku or love lab and decided to never trust obviousness again.

I've never had yuri goggles. Subtext is essentially yuri without being yuri, therefore nothing to me.

I never saw anything in stuff like K-ON, Chuunibyou, Hidamari Sketch, Lucky Star, the on-going Re-Kan!, nor the yuri-fan-infamous Love Lab.

Unless it's like Nanoha, if I actually go off and watch it I will be heavily biased due to how much doujins I've read and how much I've heard. of them from ppl.

Rape can be part of a story and handled well in the writing of the psyche of the characters and those around them: their friends and family... But stories that do it like that are almost non-existant. Most of the stories considered good that have rape in them are usually brushed over or dealt with in an unrealistically swift fashion. Clearly most have no idea of what the actual effects such traumatizing events are, the difficulty of dealing with the aftermath... Sometimes the victims never manage to psychologically recover. In most of these stories the author just wanna give them an oh-so tragic boohoo backstory.

Yeah, I can only think of Cross Heart that did it well.

Not really... it's a skin-deep use for the sake of tragic backstory. When in reality someone unattended (wait, she was not only unattended, her own parents pushed that shit in much deeper), like in Cross Heart, would've been deeply damaged and traumatized. Simply making her open up to the MC and where it bascially goes "I love you, therefore heal up" does not really work like that irl.

But hey, at least there the event itself is portrayed as something horrible, and not something horrible for viewing pleasure.

Problem with rape is the fetishized fantasy portrayal of it... Where the stories become about rape instead of having rape. When it is fully displayed for viewing pleasure of those who enjoy it. When characters unrealistically start enjoying being forced into it - which tends to lead them to desiring more.

The particular story had tiiiiny bits of potential brilliance in story completely shot down by porn logic and shoddy writing. The way the MC was dealing with her situation with the scumbag, attempting to keep her girlfriend away from everything, thinking of herself as lesser/soiled/dirtied as typical of a train of thought as it may be. Girlfriend finding out about the atrocity and taking anger-fueled action by her own hand to free the MC.

I would actually call it a good story if only her character didn't have that attitude towards boys - which feeds into the rapist's dialogue during the rape scene (which is clearly for ppl who love that fuck-a-lesbian-straight rape-talk), and the bad (fantasy) portrayal of rape (as always...). Part 2 is actually fine... as fine as it could possibly get. Quite a shame that the writing is such trash, cuz the art is great.

Yuri side-couple in Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!! they first appear in episode 7, they get their first yuri scene in episode 9 and another in 11. Them being a lesbians is just to add to the characters, there is no over-arcing plot nor development romance-wise for them, they just are. General plot-wise they are antagonists.

Note: recommend uncensored version... as always, censoring is used annoyingly.

I have not seen the anime, since I only skimmed through it for them. Only few things I can say about it:

• It's a harem (don't worry, the yuri is not part of it, it's safe)
• Pervy jokes
• Seems like a nonsenscial action anime.
