^ from what i've heard from other people that have watched the show, the first season is really good yuri-wise and then the second season kind of falls apart ; there is going to be a season 3 as far as i'm aware, so perhaps there's hope there but,, yeah. i also hate unfulfilled yuri-bait and i personally really enjoyed season 1 as it's just unambiguously Very gay imo

once again praising this manga for letting itself be absolutely batshit. not only that, it also manages to be kind of hot

after suzuki senpai's stuff getting me roped in with the comedy and casual art style, i am very happy to see that there are other works in a similar vein (though this art style i like even more!) really looking forward to this updating

please tell me i'm not the only one that heard the "million dollar yen exchange for dubious social service" premise and immediately thought of ouran .. i feel like this art-style doesn't really correspond to my tastes but at the same time, i love it a lot? this is a great mangaka to watch out for

i saw the cover and went "oh this looks pretty, who's it by" and then just screamed "WHOO???" when i read that it was sumiko-sensei <3 <3 <3 good god i'd read absolutely anything and everything by this artist, she's absolutely brilliant

this is adorable. the art style is charming enough that it would make for a great series, but sometimes tender one-shots just hit different

the thought of having to read god knows how many chapters to actually get to some semblance of conflict in this manga makes me sick to my stomach but tuning in now (chapter 35), i'm kinda here for it lol

Ah yes, how to pass a rag to your antagonists to try to justify their actions: create someone shallow who is crueler to them for no apparent reason, that will maybe make them look less bad

i don't think the point is to make them less bad but to address how they deal with those circumstances. arguably, satsuki is in a pretty shitty position too where she and her friends get the short end of the social stick pretty often, but she goes out of her way to save people no matter what. antagonist-kun here sees cruelty and thinks that the way to react to it is with even more cruelty (however deserved in those admittedly shallow examples it may have been).

kinda disheartening to see people crying about the plot being boring, hopefully the scanlators don't drop it at any point ... i've been hungry for a multi-faceted story for a while now, this manga has been a joy in its careful setup and continuous fleshing out of the characters (i would be very interested in learning more about komachi later on, too)

glad to see that the uma musume fandom is alive and well
