The box cutter is a brilliant metaphor. Blondie is coming out the closet this chapter. You know what is shaped like a closet? A box. Hence, why Blondie is using the box cutter: to cut himself free from the closet. Absolutely brilliant /s.

A confession at a secret meeting spot under the full moon. How romantic.

WTF. You guys thought last cliffhanger was bad? Well, new one is on another whole level of terrible. I feel so stupid for hoping for them to just happily date now without more annoying drama. They just can't catch a break. Being lesbian is suffering.

Let me take a wild guess: They're about to kiss at the end of the chapter, and then an out-of-control cotton candy cart, unmanned, appears out of nowhere and is about to hit one of the main characters.

Edit: Would a more apt manga title be: Between Suffering and Eros? Or Between Bad Cliffhangers and Suffering?

Are you saying all manga that you read portrays the LGBT characters as weirdos or terrible people and not the other way? Actually, why of all things do LGBT characters have to be portrayed as saints? That is plain, boring, cardboard, and unrealistic. Can't they just be portrayed as humans? With their positive and negative sides regardless of their sexuality and identity?

Sorry for intruding on this argument, but I think it is ironic for you to say, "With their positive and negative sides regardless of their sexuality and identity?" when the author does not write the characters that way. Because, fundamentally, this manga's characters' flaws all tie in with their sexuality and identity; the butch lesbian's blackmailing of MC stems from her lesbian desire for the other dance girl; the MC's gay friend's masturbation and nipple-licking stems from his pent-up homosexuality; the bisexual girl's pursuit of new partners stems from her bisexuality. These characters literally act on their sexuality and identity; the author literally based their dominant personalities off of inhibiting LGBT stereotypes. And your question, "Can't they just be portrayed as humans?" should be redirected towards the author.

(But anyway, I'll still be reading this manga because it is just bewitching how over-the-top it can be :P)

Anyway, have a nice day!

Wow, I was so anxious for Gin when Gin started taking off the wig. Fortunately, Sumon did not react negatively.

i can't help but ask myself who buid them in the first place. and if both are robots, why do they have belly buttons?

I bet it’s their power buttons, and if you hold the belly buttons down long enough, the androids shut down.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMFG GUYS

GUYS

GUYS

I ordered an Oculus Quest last week when I was lucky enough to finally find some in stock (on Walmart.com in this case), cuz these things were already hard to get since before Christmas and The Rona has made it nigh impossible

I had some issues with the order, it was stuck in pending mode for days even though my card was charged the $400+tax, finally called in and spent over 2 hours on the phone (I have WICKED bad phone anxiety) and got it all straightened out.

Well today is the day it was supposed to arrive. I am legit excited like a little girl at Christmas so I couldn't sleep last night, so sleep deprivation on top of super excitement, I can't get any more wound up, yeah?

So my delivery gets here and I open the box and this is what is inside:

I LITERALLY CAN'T EVEN RIGHT NOW

THE EXCITEMENT HAS PUSHED ME INTO FULL BASIC WHITE GIRL MODE

Congratulations! That's amazing!

(Meanwhile, the only time something like that happened to me was when I got two bags of chips from the vending machine when I ordered one)

I really liked the chapters 42 and 43. The flow of the chapters felt very natural and didn't feel like the author was preaching at me. The story is actually interesting again, to me at least.

Yeah, I'm starting to think the 2 main characters are actually robots that need to be instructed and thoroughly explained how humans feel and communicate.... after saying all that I hope this ends up with mecha, they transform at the end and become one ultra mecha and fly off into space

They’re going to combine into an Ultra Mecha to fight Homophobia and Transphobia.

My (not-serious-but-also-wish-it-will-happen-just-for-the-lolz) predictions:

Next chapter, Akira runs away from Hime to avoid replying to Hime. Five chapters later, while still avoiding Hime, Akira talks to five other characters for advice, who all account to her how they have been confessed to by childhood friends. Their backstories help Akira realize that it is bad to avoid replying to Hime and finally approaches Hime to reject her.

After being rejected, Hime then spends three chapters talking to other characters, who tell how how they have been rejected by childhood crushes, and she realizes that she needs to move on from Akira. Akira, sad that her friend isn't talking to her, talks to six other characters for help, and they help her realize that she can still be friends with Hime.

Akira talks to Hime, and they become friends again. Cue in obligatory flashback to their childhood, when they first became friends. Fast forward to the present or future, where Hime says, "Turns out the real Kanojo Ni Naritai Kimi to Boku was inside us all along." The last page is a panel of all the characters walking next to each other towards the beautiful sunset, smiling.

The End.

Is this entire series just gonna be flashbacks to that one night? If so, that would actually be hilarious.

For some reason, I thought the second chapter was a one-shot, and when I got to the last page, I was like "That's it? That cliffhanger is so random"
And then I realized that it was a series and I accidentally skipped the first chapter :P

Maybe the author was trying to paint Iori's violent outbursts as romantic, like Iori cares so much about Minami that she loses control of her actions, and that only through Iori's "passion" can Iori erase Minami's insecurities.

Which is a pretty sociopathic message, and not romantic at all. (And it is also bad that the story frames Minami as being in the wrong. By having Iori not apologizing, the author is sending the message that it is Minami's fault she got hit because she has self-doubts. She needs a hug and reassurance, not a fist to the face and shaming)
