eh? I thought that suicide thing was a bit sudden, not totally unforeseen or out of place, but still... the story flow was going nice and then suddenly BAM i'll commit suicide if youre not here! which kind of cheapened miharu's return.

oh well, love this author and would like to see more from them ^_^

sequel!!!

though I tend to agree with Kyonne, which means I don't think a sequel is likely :(

Oh wonderful! Another story about a sex obsessed lesbian without any actual romance. Just a girl who liked having sex with any girl she could find. Yay....*sarcastic tone*

it was a good manga and I liked it, but the sex addict/player abusing the innocent girl next door? it gets old, and it hurts emotionally since I empathize with the innocent girl from next door, who will inevitably get hurt

but maybe a part 2 could change my mind???

The thumb rule is, "If it's yuri, it's not rape."

rape is rape

not like I dislike stories like this, I like a good sad ending or angsty story, but still

she had stuffed animal dog she lost as a kid, she didn't feel loved by her family or friends, she found someone who loved her (and gave her a dog nickname), and then she proceeded to use that person for sex and grades

I like this manga, but for the above reason I can't say that I enjoyed it

thanks for posting and scanlating though! ^_^

I was really relating to those emotions karatsu displayed when she wore the hair pin for the first time. she did it for oribe, she broke the mold, the determination there... ahh just so... ;_;

I hope they ended up together

A continuation of this of when they're older would be great.

I want this too!

It already has! http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/ill_send_her_home_on_the_last_train

And yeah, our sorting system is kinda broken for two-part works, still trying to figure that one out...

ahahaha yeah I clicked on the author and then saw a title with "train" in it >_< sorry for not thinking before I speak LOL

anyway thanks for the reply and I appreciate your diligence!

awesome follow up, didn't have the same emotional impact as the first part, but still good!

I really hope that the sequel gets translated soon!! I really would like to see a continuation of this.

and if it ever gets uploaded, it would be nice if it had a part 2 label on it or something so that I would know it was the sequel to this

anyway thanks so much for bringing great yuri to us ^_^

because people label you as some kind of freak that doesn't have a sex drive.

asexuals are not freaks.

-_- i said they label you as a freak, i didn't say they were. if i thought that i wouldn't be here, and i wouldn't be a social liberal/progressive either :P

just that in my high school life if you were a guy and not sexually active, you were automatically labeled.

I don't get having sex just for the sake of saying you're not a virgin anymore, I also don't get loveless sex (i mean i get it, but i don't condone it)

the societal burden placed on both sexes to be experienced in bed is just terrible. though for a girl to be a virgin past 18 isn't as bad as a guy being a virgin past 18, because people label you as some kind of freak that doesn't have a sex drive. (bear with me here, i am a guy, so i have never been in the situation of "female virgin 18+" so if i misspoke or your situation was different, i sincerely apologize, this is just what i have experienced in my life)

I just... the reasoning behind this situation (and others like it that have been mentioned) is just so stupid its painful, even more so because I related to keiko for 21 chapters.... still rooting for her though. i really hope if nothing else she is happy in the end. i would even forgo a yuri ending if she turned out happy.

that was interesting, took me a reread in order for me to figure it out.
I had never seen the covers before so this was all new to me. still I like this story. will read more from this author

and I don't really get the way others here refer to the girls, but I will say that I was most attached to the long dark haired girl first. she was hurting because her best friend liked someone else, so even though she did something wrong and broke the short light straight haired girls heart, as well as her ponytail best friend's heart, she was just desperate and in love (with ponytail)
next I feel empathetic to the short light straight haired girl. she was just being manipulated and only wanted to be with the one she loved (the short curly haired girl) and she even confessed her love trying to maintain her relationship.
thirdly, the ponytail girl. she was heartbroken because of her best friend (long dark hair) but she stayed with her. once she found out that her best friend had betrayed her by going after her love interest (short straight light hair) as a way to be with her she threw away their friendship.... and she was the only one that was happy in the end
short curly hair... can't really relate, she wasn't really developed enough and I feel like she discarded her girlfriend way too easily (short light straight hair). I mean if someone would have made a mistake, slept with someone else, but said that they realized that they were wrong and that they wanted to stay with me, I would at least give them a second chance. I mean look at the short straight light haired girl, she was in tears trying to salvage their relationship!!

sorry if I am ranting (and I may even be getting the story wrong XD) but since what ever else is posted here is pretty much one sentence long I felt I had to make mine a little bit longer :P

so the ending:
tokarev was shot by hiro I take it?
and then hiro somehow sealed off the school from the outside world and stopped anyone else from being able to come there?
and somehow ayaka was transported to outside the school?

if the answer to all those questions is yes, then I say I wasted my time reading this series. seriously, all those pages tried to build up a story and relationships but in the end we all get screwed.

I agree with Lifecharacter, but I don't blame the artist/author because I suppose they probably had to conform to what their editor wanted

Sacrificing her eyes?! Those don't grow like hair does; hair doesn't even compare to the need of our eyes. What a disturbing love!

^this. that was just so wrong, no way in h*ll I would do that
*edit: and why is this not tagged as "what the fuck am I reading?"

Not a jerk at all, it's hard to understand exactly what someone is saying online. I'm not saying men are not able to understand, just the bond is stronger ( if I were saying that, I'd be saying that I can't either ).

There's still the possibility that he did not know she lost the baby before they went separate ways. Because he clearly said something like "I don't understand what happened and / or changed".

You'd have to be quite the dimwit to not understand why suddenly a woman would feel this way after such an experience.

I was actually quite shocked at first and that's why I theorized that it's possible he wasn't aware at the time of the break-up because someone can't be so insensitive ( in my mind ). Although, people have shown me otherwise in the past.

This could also be the typical Japanese salary man not understanding anything else aside work, work... and work.

But I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Also, for those that think they're going to hook back up, are you nuts? There's just too much pain associated with that relatively quick ( shotgun marriage ) relationship. This might not be a yuri end, but there's no chance in hell that this relationship rekindle.

I suppose it is more likely that he doesn't know, just because both of us agree that there is no way someone could be that big of a jerk and call themselves human :P but if that is the case then it definitely proves that keiko was not attached to him in any other way besides the kid, so much so that she didn't even feel obligated to tell him about losing the child.

so yeah, no way they are getting back together. not only because what I mentioned above, but because if the author wanted to have a resolution with this guy then the author would have introduced him in a different way. I see this as a way to advance the relationship between ran/kieko, maybe not towards yuri but still a way to bring about some drama.

still hoping for a yuri resolution though :)

About the kid, that's totally normal, Keiko is definitively more impactful in his life then a child that never came. Men don't bond the same way because they don't carry the children. The bond between father and child is something that happens after birth.

The loss of the baby is definitely less important to him than the lost of his girlfriend / ex-fiance.

ok, so I am not trying to be a jerk, and for sure the bonding of mother-child is definitely more intense than the bonding of a father-child before birth. that being said...

I am going to go on record here for the sake of all considerate/sensitive men everywhere and say that we do care!!! if my partner were to get pregnant that child's life would be just as, if not more important to me than the relationship (not the life of my partner, but the relationship) I would have with my partner. and if my partner were to miscarry, i would 1) be super worried about my partner's mental and physical health, BUT 2) i would also be upset that our child was lost (and its no one's fault, i would definitely not blame my partner, and i would try to be as considerate as possible in how we as a couple dealt with the miscarriage. i am just saying that it would not be something that i would relegate to the realm of "out of sight, out of mind")

once again, i just wanted to clear that up, at least for myself because i don't think that way (meaning what Evilnemesis said or how the guy in ch21 was acting). other than that i agree +/ follow most of the speculation/ideas that Evilnemesis put forward. so try not to get mad, just try to understand my viewpoint :P

ugh I am rereading this now, dammit it is so long between releases that I forget what happens, but this is getting interesting... so sad too, but I don't want keiko to end up with a jerk
