Got it, the series you're talking about is called 'Nobara no Mori no Otometachi'. It's released by Yurikai and you'll find it on their reader at Yurikai.com.(at least chap. 1-4)

That little bit you described doesn't help much. Two girls who are friends attending a boarding school sounds like a pretty common place scenario for yuri/shoujo ai. You should go ahead and describe the parts you remember seperated by a line. The more people know about it the better the chance of someone knowing what it is you're looking for.

The general concept of using photos for reference isn't the problem per say, it's the fact that the photos used belonged to someone else and weren't taken by the artist not to mention used without permission. I do find it unusual that it created such a big disturbance though, seeing as how the copies weren't used for the same purpose as the originals.

That series is currently being handled by Maki Maki. Check their site for updates.

You should go to the Feedback section, there's a thread for posting requests there.

Click on directory, then click on tags on the left side of the page, go to letter 'C' and click on comedy. You should find all the yuri humor you're looking for on the page that comes up here.

I'd like to request a one-shot from the anthology The Cherry Tree Correspondence if possible. It's called 'Together With Master'. It was done by a group referenced by Lililicious called Otenba which seems to have been inactive for the past 2 years.

According to Lililicious the titles 'My Unique Day' in Yuri Hime vol. 20 and 'A Space Voyage with Suwako-san' in Yuri Hime vol. 23 are also part of an anthology titled 'Pie wo Agemasho Anata ni Pie wo Ne'.

On a side note the pic for the Applause anthology is page 1 in the 'Bruges' story.

As far as the person working on it, any guess could be the right one but from what I can tell from their post they want Dynasty scans to host it(they specifically mentioned Dynasty scans) but don't know how to go about submitting it. I left a post saying they just need to ask you guys. Forgive me if I'm overstepping any boudries, I don't mean to.

Word on yuri street is that the one shot 'A Lifeform in Puberty - Vega' by Hayashiya Shizuru isn't just a one shot but a series as well and someone on /u/ is working out the specs. Would you guys be willing to give it a spot on the reader?

If you go with Fujieda Miyabi I would recommend either 'The Miko's Words and The Witch's Incantations' or 'Chatting at the Amber Teahouse'. For Otsu Hiyori I recommend 'Aqua Blue Cinema'. These are all good stories for a beginner that represent the yuri factor pretty well but don't involve sex.

Morinaga Milk is always a good start for beginners. If you want to start off slowly and then gradually pick up speed then the anthology 'Even If We're Not Friends' and eventually 'Kisses, Sighs and Cherry-Blossom Pink are also good choices.

I think 'Girlfriends' is your best choice. It's not all about sex, it's got a good level of romance and even displays the confusion that girls go through and actions they might take when trying to decide how they really feel.
