I thought my use of language should have made it fairly clear that I don't think I know it all. I am just an observer, and I'll never leave that group given that my orientation won't allow it.

Your situation is sad, but when commenting on how much of a 'relationship' I thought that which is being depicted was, there are differences from yours. Most importantly, it was entirely contained in school. There's nothing to indicate abuse like you have unfortunately suffered, just a standard school romance. So when that results in angsty poetry, it comes off to me as something the protagonist was too invested in, when she didn't necessarily need to be.

The description for the main female includes her hobbies as being researching tits, and wishing to be a priest in the temple of boobs. Sounds standard perverted MC. Designs... okay, I suppose.

But still 10/10 name.

I want to download all but the only ones I remember are Aoi Shiro, Akai Ito, Sono Hanabira, Lonely Yuri, Analogue: A Hate Story and Hate Plus, I know there's a lot more, some that are only girls love, some you can romance both gender, and some you can choose your gender, but finding all would be difficult so if someone could help me...

Only visual novel I know outside of those is Sengoku no Kuroyuri, about the futa sister of Oda Nobunaga. There's been people supposedly translating it, but I don't know whether that's still happening.

I actually thought about doing a story like that for a while now, more like fake harem though.
Dude gets into girls-school-just-gone-coed as only male and plans on getting his harem going. All the main girls are gay though and don't really care about him. But he's living his dilusions until some other male exchange student comes along and gets along better with the girls than he does cause he's gay too. Then, yaoi and yuri endings.

I can't draw for shit though, so it's never gonna happen.

Would watch this too.

Or read a story of it. It sounds pretty funny.

I'm 99% sure generic harems are the cause of all evil.

Usually the for the first few, you'd be generous to call them relationships. Though that's based on an observers perspective, I've only the amusing stories of my friends to go on. Like when one had a girlfriend, went on holiday, and when he came back, found she was going out with another of my friends. And it was just... accepted. So I couldn't consider that a relationship.

Even then though, it seems most fail now, without social stigma to prevent it. Again, based entirely on an observers perspective.

If I am to assume there are essentially two options for all monogamous relationships, a) staying together "forever" or b) breaking up, I would think most relationships end in break ups. Perhaps this is close-minded of me, and you have a different viewpoint.

Some relationships can last until someone dies and the other moves on, which I don't think counts as either. But I doubt that they could make up the deficit for modern amounts of break-ups.

Throughout history however, probably more that didn't do so.

Actually I don't think I made sense.

More people in modern times break up than don't, but in history, most have stayed together, as an assumption.

In france we use the french equivalent CQFD (what needed to be proved) to be sarcastic when we correct someone or state something obvious and we don't actually use it at the end of (mathematical) proof. Didn't actually know it was used at the end off mathematic proof before I wrote it in my earlier post x)

Yes I realise the implications. They were instrumental in the origin of the belief. When I asked myself, what if I lived in a society which dealt in ethnic cleansing, I considered that, if I were to discuss with a member of this society whether this was right or not, and they truly believed that it was, why would my morality be superior to there's?

Because human life has value perhaps?

But then I considered that perhaps to this person, it does not. I place value in human life, but why should that HAVE to be right? If this person was committing an atrocity as far as I was concerned, but to them it was something good, why should my stance take precedence?

Then I flipped it around.

What if I did something I considered good that they considered wrong?

I realised that if we are both doing good as far as we are concerned, then why should one be right over the other? They shouldn't. Because good is relative to in what we place value. Just because one thing is valuable to one, does not mean they have the right to assume it HAS to be valuable to all.

As a disclaimer, not advocating for ethnic cleansing. Just rationalising how it could be possible for others to to believe it is the correct course of action, and accepting that from a moral standpoint, I am not inherently superior to them, even if because I viewed it as wrong I would act to prevent it. I feel this was poorly explained and people will assume the worse...

I'm not even sure about the whole "greater good justifies the wrong" thing either. If your options are hurting some people to make more people happy than you're hurting and not doing anything to keep both parties moderatly happy, the second one kinda does sound better,

Also, this discussion has gone waaaay off track.

But the intention was good. People can make mistakes. That's all that was accepting for. Greater good also assumes that their suffering has been considered, and usually you will find that suffering without compensation does not classify as greater good.

Greater good is a scale. Good and bad must be considered for the greater good.
