(apparently customer service people are encouraged to track repeat customers and call them out like that???? i guess it's meant to be welcoming or something but i find it seriously off-putting)

Think of it this way, coming from an incredibly anxious person who's worked many customer service jobs. Regulars are a godsend because you are guaranteed at least ONE person who isn't going to be an asshole to you. If they have a regular order, even better. There's a predictability and a script we can follow. It's not just on your end feeling this way. Of course your mileage may vary person to person, but for the most part I assure you we don't spend our lives thinking about you too deeply and scrutinizing every action you take. Even if you are unsociable, workers will probably clock that and curb their familiarity with you accordingly.

Wonderfully in-character, super sweet, and charmingly funny. Nice to see Tama II's work again. I enjoyed their MadoHomu works back then. Interestingly I've seen people draw parallels between MadoHomu and ChisaTaki, which makes them all the more qualified to make something like this lol. Thank you for translating this! If Asumi and Nanao slept together, that might be the most emotional/romantic thing Asumi's done. Anything spicy that's happened so far always involved money being exchanged. As much as I want to see Mai again, I'm down for whatever happening.

I think it's hard for Tsukushi to figure things out because they've just been so close for nearly their whole lives. So, what's really intimate for someone else is just normal in their friendship. But mainly she has the worst case scenario in her mind (being rejected AND losing her best friend) and that's what's holding her back. I'm glad Hinoka is being so patient with her. I think she has a pretty good feeling about what's happening here, so maybe she's waiting for Tsukushi to be emotionally ready and come to her?

Also Sara and Yuu are so frickin' cute. I love that they're confirmed dating.

I have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to drama, and I do like these other girls, but I can't wait for this arc to be over. Dang teenagers unable to communicate properly and being all gay and angsty and all ,:/ I super loved Himari getting to see her girlfriend's band practicing again. Really fun and happy; matches her vibe way more.

It really sucks Umi didn't get to see the aquarium this chapter. Oh, and my heart ached for Shou. Fuck those bullies, man! But I do know what it's like feeling like you're the same scared little kid inside :( Shou wanting to change makes sense, but I'd love to see Umi become someone who can say "no." You'd be surprised at how chill your friends can be when you say "sorry I have something else important I need to do."

Also Bai Ling reminds me of the straight dudes who would try and pursue me when I was younger (and less gay-looking). Overall he's not, like, a bad guy, but he's REALLY barking up the wrong tree. But since he hasn't outright confessed Xiao Lan doesn't exactly know how to deal w him. Hated those situations. Opposite of friend zone: "I really want friends, but you only see me as a romantic interest :("
