Well, I live in America and anime/manga is very popular here. It's not popular in my particular area (or maybe it is but I don't get out enough to notice) but we get the weird weeaboos who actually want to be Japanese, badly use chopsticks at every meal, and use "desu", "kawaii", and "sugoi" in their sentences....

People like that weird me out. I think its perfectly okay to enjoy another's culture and then there's taking it too far. In my part of the US, I wouldn't say its extremely popular but its getting around fast in these later years. (I can walk in to a book store and buy a copy of Citrus.) I personally know at least 10+ people who enjoy anime/manga and then on the other hand my other friends have no idea what we're talking about.

To everyone else how do you watch anime? Do you watching subbed or dubbed? I watch it in whatever language I think is better sounding. Sometimes dubbed like in the case of Black Lagoon or subbed in the case of Mai Hime. (That dub was cringeworthy)

@Anon99 It's also true about playing video games. I think yelling "It's not what it looks like" is rather cliche and incriminating. I usually breath in and sit there waiting until they say or do something. If I'm lucky, we never talk about it again.

I didn't know that there was an omake for Black Lagoon until my friend showed them to me. I never saw Marimite because I couldn't get into the visual style.

@Kyonne Sweet music dude. It's right up my alley. I like many types of metal including symphonic, thrash, folk, etc. Favorites: Nightwish, Amon Amarth, Eluveitie, Korpiklaani, Sabaton, things of that nature.

@Anon99 I know it so weird unless I choose to watch an anime with a friend I feel unnerved when people can just see whatever I'm watching. Japan is weird and sometimes I can't predict what insanity might happen at that one moment when someone glances over.

One of my favorite scenes from Black Lagoon was from this omake.

@Kyonne Man your cat is cute. I hope you can get her back soon. Whenever my cat bolts away from me I usually have to grab him out from under a car or if I'm lucky he's outside eating the grass.

@Anon99 I loved watching Kill la Kill. My friend suggested it to me saying it was good. The first ep weird me out mainly because I was sitting somewhere where anyone could've seen what I was watching. (That would be awkward to explain.) Then ep 18 came around making me wish she warned me about it. Still one of my favorite anime next to Steins;Gate, Black Lagoon, Strawberry Panic, and Spice and Wolf.

@Alvis I know, I had a dog that would act the exact same way. I felt bad about keeping her inside, but I didn't want her to die out there. Though it's nice to have a cat. I find them to be lower maintenance and less dependent on me. However, some of them are rather ungrateful jerks. Luckily for me I have an awesome cat. He's a bit quirky but I unintentionally trained him to obey me.

I live in Alabama. Sometimes I think about cooking eggs outside, but then I realize that I'll have to stay out in the killer heat until they're done.

Can someone please tell me everyone's relation with each other? I'm a bit confused. I get that Zee is the niece of Fah, but what is Zee relationship with Min. Is Min also her aunt or is it more of a title "aunt" but not related by anything?
