Maybe controversial isn't the right word. All I did was did a quick search and found very differing opinions about it very quickly.

Basically all male /u/ board users

Which is ironic since most of the harshest criticisms about Yuri Danshi comes from there.

Loved the first two chapters, but after looking for reactions elsewhere it seems like it is a bit of a controversial series already with a lot of harsh criticisms.

Seeing as it is already five volumes long, I feel like it might be one of those cases where the singular joke might have been stretched too far.
