The manga I'm looking for starts with two girls on an "alien" planet (though they are clearly humans), one suggests she uses a pair of VR glasses (that turn the one your looking at into a hunky boy) to simulate a het date. 2nd girl agrees, but wishes 1st girl was looking at her for real. At the end of the date 2nd girl states that the VR glasses are supposed to make a noise when they're working, and 1st girl blushes up a storm

False advertising. The string needs to be taut in order to actually hear anything. Kids these days know nothing about old toys :/

At first I thought this was cute, then I read the comments.
I mean, I still like it, and real-life rapists are horrible, and to remind everyone that this is a work of fiction and that characters shouldn't be judged as real human beings.
And that some people shouldn't take things too seriously. But of course, someone's going to take MY words too seriously, and the vicious cycle continues...

Ahh, Girlfriends... Both one of my first yuri mangas and the first physical copy I bought once it was brought over to Canada. I can definitely see the improvement Morinaga has made comparing this to Girlfriends. Such a nostalgia trip!
