That rant is actually a bit obnoxious and pointless. Not harmful, but certainly the desire to spread sophomoric giant walls of text is something I'd rather be spared. Too bad curiosity got the better of me this time xD

"I wanted to know how it felt to be the one cheating. I now realize I'm a cruel and awful person. Oh you say you've been hurt too much already? Ok cool, no need for me to apologize or anything. I'll be the one to protect you now. Since you are small and weak and your crying face is cute. And because my cheating is totally not an indication of my hypocrisy and potentially empty promise."

And of course, Ruki will just accept this because she's desperate and does not care about personal growth and character development. Yes this makes total sense. I can see a beautifully blossoming relationship taking shape here.

Honestly though, I only hope that things work between them in a distant future we will (thankfully) never be privy to.

Watashi is the polite/gender-neutral term to refer to oneself. It's just all around awesome because you can use it in almost any situation. Atashi (same kanji as watashi, just read differently) is the feminine casual way to refer to oneself. It's usually used by young women.

Really ? I thought watashi was feminine too while guys use "Ore" (or Boku but more childish) most of the time
I should pay more attention to these thing while watching anime, I don't recall a guy using watashi

Ore is pretty common among men, but it can be seen as rude. Definitely do not want to use it while talking to your boss at work lol. You wouldn't hear men use watashi a lot in anime because, well, anime often ignores politeness unless there's a need for a character to appear impeccably mannered =P

Can anyone explain the difference between watashi and atashi? And what about anta and omae?

Watashi is the polite/gender-neutral term to refer to oneself. It's just all around awesome because you can use it in almost any situation. Atashi (same kanji as watashi, just read differently) is the feminine casual way to refer to oneself. It's usually used by young women.

Anta is the casual contraction of anata, with anata being the polite form of "you". It's sometimes used by couples to refer to each other. Likewise, omae may be used by friends or couples, usually coming from males. It's quite impolite/derogatory otherwise.

hating on remi just because she's the one who's openly sexual with everyone(because they didn't have a choice with having sex with remi amirite) and ignoring the fact that she's the only one making literally 90% of the character development happen in this series AND the fact that nobody understands what's happening in ch12

yeah okay i will fight all of you to death to defend best girl remi(╯°□°)ຈ҉̛༽̨҉҉ノ̨

A character pushing other characters through character development is fine. Even as a mere plot device. Remi herself just isn't a decent human being by any account. Perhaps she could have friendly intentions (who really knows, you will just have to have blind faith on this), but her actions and words are very undoubtedly hurtful toward the people around her. We see no remorse in her during any encounter she has with Ruki. If anything good comes out of her antics, it is only collateral/accidental and not because she wants things to work out between others.

Her openness about sexuality is a good thing. Her callousness and willingness to manipulate people for her own pleasure is not a good thing.

having an affair or sex in general is a foreign thing to most people i guess

Haha! I would say it is very much not foreign to most people! After all, most humans will eventually (try to) reproduce with one or more other humans.

There's something really heartbreaking about Ruki's dialogue on this page http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/the_feelings_we_all_must_endure_ch12#22

Like she still cares more about Sacchan's happiness than the fact that the bitch just completely trampled on her feelings.

Sigh...

She also offered to drive Remi home after all of that cruelty. What is wrong with this girl. I can't.

I don't even .... I don't understand why do fue think sex is a bothersome thing like do ppl like that in real life even exist XD

Yes, such people exist in real life.

RE: ch. 00 - I don't get it. asexuality I mean. especially if you are dating someone. I can understand and even rationalize having a relationship on an emotional level, but I would think the relationship is lacking. unwhole. incomplete such that it is not relational, nor fully connected. And to that point, I cannot imagine nor understand how one can be in love with someone, yet not be fully connected to that person either on the mental, physical or spiritual (for those who are spiritual) level.

So this reminds me of a South Park episode, but explaining that would take too long and probably miss the point.

One thing that may be understood is that asexuals in general are fully connected with their partner, at least from their perspective. Sex may be the end game of physical intimacy for some, but kissing, petting, soft play, and cuddling are also forms of physical intimacy. Some say cuddling is like sex for asexuals, for instance.
There's a quote from Her about sexuality that I really like that can also apply here. A lesbian women says to a straight girl, "For me, having sex with a man is like you having sex with a dog. Just imagine it." You could easily say that for the repulsed asexual, them having sex with anyone would be like you having sex with a dog.

Fue provides an interesting representation of asexuality. But like any representation of anything, she...isn't perfect, and a lot is left up to interpretation.

I would thumb up your post if I could, OrangePekoe. I'd like to add that it may also be the case that an asexual person does not desire physical connection with their partner, but can wholly connect on a mental or spiritual level. Nothing says that physical connection is the pinnacle of a relationship, and not participating in that particular aspect of a relationship does not make the relationship "lacking" in any way. It would be like saying not participating in BDSM play means your relationship is not as "whole" as those of people who do participate in it. Of course not. It just means it's not your cup of tea.
