I have a hard time telling them apart. Except the dom wears a tie, they are drawn almost identically.

i tell them appart mostly by the hair, dom has some bangs and short hair on the front part, while the sub wears long hair all over.

Original is otome, which is closer to maiden, as in young girl, but can be taken as virgin. So I think the author intent was more around "young girls' empire", but translator choice went for virgin for "simplicity", as virgin tend to generally concern young girls ?

the setup was so depressing at first i thought she was suicidal, kinda relieved, the white haired girl looks so good, this is interesting. (although it kinda triggers my fear of going blind, guess its not that bad)

i really loved this manga, the end was nice and all, so i guess i can forget about cpt 40's end until maybe the author addresses it on an extra. Still, wish they showed a bit more of Marikas after the high school graduation.
Well that slip seemed to no mean much too, so i wont detract much from my opinion on the manga.(I guess you could see it as a solidary action from Marika toward the others like gwennie-chan said, even if it still be a weak way to put it in plot)

Maki is not a yuri danshi. He just likes watching love stories unfold. With their share of drama. That this one is a yuri one adds spice, because it must be kept secret, but he doesn't show that he likes it because it's two girls.

that blood eating thing doesnt make much sense, since if they just eat blood from each other, one hour the "nutrients", or whatever they need to survive, will be exhausted, like how we cant survive just eating our own waste.
But well if they are able to eat normal food as well as the blood, healthy vampires could trade their blood, or make livestocks, in case blood has any advantage over normal food for these vampires.
