I'm hoping Tsukiko has a change of heart and starts to reciprocate Nana's feelings. The two of them just seem like the more interesting couple. imo.

I was reading the description for this movie "The Other Woman"

After discovering her boyfriend is married, a woman (Cameron Diaz) tries to get her ruined life back on track. But when she accidentally meets the wife he's been cheating on ...

then my mind fills in the blank "and they elope."

Then I read the rest of it and it sucks. So I saw Godzilla instead. I like my version better.

That movie actually had a lot of subtext between those two characters though.

I'm on a rereading one-shot streak. and this has been a fav for a while!

Every time I see a new upload by Amano Shuninta, I end up going back and rereading everything she's done X)
She is my all time favorite.

Jesus fucking christ. Did anyone else notice how bad the writing was in this one? The characterization was poor, especially with the senpai. For much of the story, we never get to know who the senpai is, what her relation to the main characters is (other than the sex), or what her motives are. Rather than a fleshed out villain, she kind of just felt like a stock character. As a result, when the senpai and Ayaka meet eyes in that infamous moment, there's no real impact. The two were total strangers. It was more weird and confusing than anything.

I also thought Ayaka's reaction was completely odd. Where's the feelings of outrage, hurt, and betrayal!? Even her jealousy wasn't all that much. Kanako was her best friend. Wouldn't she be at least a little bit upset that she was keeping such a huge secret from her?

And that second part might've been even more atrocious than the first, imo. The romantic development between Kakano and the senpai was so forced. It was way too quick –all of it. They barely knew each other. And also, can we talk about how fucked up that senpai is? She comes off as a fucking rapist! "I'm so happy I could assault you"!? At that part, I was yelling, "RUN! Get the fuck outta there!" But seriously, what the hell? I definitely agree with the others who are saying the senpai was merely taking advantage of Kakano. All those "I love you"'s were lies –that includes Kakano's (there's no way you love this chick after just 5 minutes. Please.) The girl was ignorant and naive, and the senpai honed in on that. In the end, she really is still a child.

Even from a NTR fan's perspective, this story should come off weak. The writing was just no good, imo.

lmao, I know, right? I know it's just text, but I feel myself getting a headache from reading all of Beniko's lines.

The art and expressions are great as usual of Amagakure Gido. And the story was sweet. I enjoyed this one.

Yay, a Kotone/Shizuku chapter. Lol, Yuzu looks surprisingly cute in that maid uniform.

Seeing as this was in the Tsubomi magazine, this manga probably isn't finished...right? (Please, let me be wrong.)

Sigh. I makes you ask, "WHY couldn't this just be real!?" But that must've been the reaction Amano was going for. It's a beautiful picture of what could be...if the world were different.

Anyway, I hope Mei's not dumb enough to really go and meet the "internet friend" as opposed to talking it out with Yuzu and explaining things rationally. "I just wanted to.. Uhm.. Take back your lips..!!"

Lmao, that's precisely why she hasn't talked to Yuzu about it yet. I wouldn't want to have to explain something so stupid either!

Hm. The art style's pretty retro. I don't know how the story will go, but a bitch got slapped in the first chapter, so that's pretty entertaining for me.

I think I can say, Love DNA XX was better.

Dude, Love DNAXX was fucking awful. Never before have I seen a series set in a society comprised entirely of women and yet still manage to be incredibly chauvinistic and patriarchal. Seriously, what a stupid concept. '“Oh, your men are dead are they? Have I got a solution for you! Just pretend some of your women are men so you can make sure all the discrimination and heterosexism that existed in your previous male dominated system never stops!”
I mean, I know Japan is really sexist compared to western countries and all but LoveDNAXX is just absurd. Its like the creator has never heard of feminism or gender equality and and thinks women actually just keep going along with the ridiculous system Japan has, where women are viewed as little more than obedient housewives. Yeah, cause that's totally something all the girls are in for, cause women like the kitchen so much that if the men died off they would get other women to tell them to stay in the kitchen. Its such a stupid, stupid, stupid concept.

TL:DR: Love DNAXX is stupid and sexist because it implies that patriarchy and male dominance is necessary for society to move forward and that femininity and feminine women are weak and worthless, while masculine women are freaks that exist solely to take the place of the man in a relationship and have no need to exist in a society with men in it.

I agree with all of this. I hate that manga. The art in it was great, but damn, the story was boring.

^I find it very peculiar that you find the queen endearing cause we haven't gotten a lot of info about her yet. Not how she acts or how she looks, just her silhouette. For me, the captain was alright. I don't know why you find her abusive as I didnt come across any part where she felt offensive or insulting (although i do agree she seems just a wee bit pushy); the princess seems to be the abusive one, hitting Koizuka and stuff.

omg, my bad. I totally meant the princess. NOT the queen! Sorry, I got the labels mixed up.

I felt that the captain was verbally abusive. She got a little bit better in the later chapters though. At least she was kind enough to help Koizuka save the princess.

As for the queen, wow. She's like a full blown psychopath! Sure, it sucks what happened with her husband, but she totally went off the deep end. At first, the crazy shit she said to the princess gave off a sadistic vibe, but after reading about what happened with her husband, she kind of just sounds bitter. Her love didn't work out, so she doesn't want the princess's relationship to work out either.

So, the story just ends like that??

Lol, this plot is reality-tv-show ridiculous! I like the main protagonist so far. This should be pretty entertaining. I wonder what happened to the real girl though. That's got me more curious than anything else.

Awesome. We need a doujin to get the action going between these two.

Well, I guess that type of premise works wonderfully for Citrus. It's not as if Mei acts logically in the actual series or anything.

True. She's so darn inconsistent.

Hmmm. So far, the only endearing character is the Queen imo. The main protagonist is kind of annoying and the captain's a fucking douche. I really don't like that captain character at all. She seems pushy and abusive. There was not even one panel in which she was a pleasant human being. She also appears to be very selfish.
