So how would Ash react to this, considering he doesn't really understand what love between two humans is? He'd probably assume Jessie was trying to kidnap his mom. By having sleepovers.

I highly suggest getting a proof reader or an editor, the translation kinda turns intelligible as some points.

The expression is the same. That's the punchline of the chapter: Koguma does something embarrassing so that Hino won't do that creepy face, and she does it anyway. There's even a repeat of the face in the penultimate panel, to make it even clearer.
And she thought the bottle was a drug of some kind, but it was an aromatic oil, a perfume. Don't take this the wrong way, but this manga is a lot easier to follow if you read the words in the bubbles.

It's a yuri comedy, so it can take literal years until they actually get together, if that ever even happens.

Yuri is one hell of a drug.
