With only two girls left, and assuming at least one of them has a connect (usually true after one or two turns), won't a puella combo happening basically be guaranteed?

I suppose with only two girls left a Puella Combo (whether due to intentionally only deploying two girls or the others die) you'd almost always be guaranteed one... although it may not be the girl you want or need depending on the situation you're in.

Also not mentioned by @Nevri, but evade chance does not stack either. Also both evade and crit chance did stack before the devs nerfed it due to evade making allies nearly unhittable and crit chance probably because it was too powerful in mirrors.

I also was able to max out my Ren today. Maybe I should save some dark xp for my Kanae. She needs six staircase monuments and three rainbow orbs then she can get to 5*. The monuments and rainbow orbs can both be gotten from the next event Sayuki Steps Up.

Well I'm happy with my C ranking I got for ranked mirrors. Did all of today's battles a won a decent amount of them. I ended up buying out all the tickets and the ap potions. I can never have enough of those since I want to farm xp for my Ren today.

Edit: I really want to get Uwasa Tsuruno since I skipped her banner when it first came out. I hope she gets a rerun soon-ish.

It's actually a lot more complicated than that. Sure levels can help, however all magical girls do not have the same growths as determined by their types. For instance Kokoro (a defensive) type levels mainly improve her HP and defense, and not HP. Also memoria, connects and magia can make a magical girl better or worse in specific situations. Say for instance you're fighting a enemy that likes to spam counter. Having a character with an anti-counter memoria (or connect) would be better since you'd both take less damage and possibly kill the enemies faster.

TLDR: Use the right magical girl for the situation.

@riverFlower Keep in mind debuffs are not the same as status effects like charm, poison, fog, etc. In this game "debuffs" strictly mean changes in status like attack/blast up/down, accel mp up/down etc. So if you want to remove status effects then Nanaka won't help however characters like Kako will.

Speaking of Kako I don't get why they made it so her connect heals then removes the status effect, since some status alignments like curse prevent healing meaning the heal portion of the connect is wasted.

I don't get this. Is this some sort of meme?

Mayu and Ria are such a cute couple especially after seeing Mayu's side story. Same thing with Hinano and Emiri (Emily).

I got Hazuki to Episode level 3, but haven't worked on her yet.

Reddit was saying Hazuki wasn't that good but her connect seems like it'd be useful in PVE at least. Same thing with Nemu's connect which heals a target, buffs their attack and adds a chance to bewitch. Her magia also sounds good: damages a single enemy, charms them, curses them, blinds them, boosts all her allies attack, and at five stars removes granted effects (yellow buffs) from enemies.

Also if they'd only make Healers, magia focused units, charge gorillas (like Momoko) and supports useful in PVP then It'd probably be somewhat more balanced and fun. Instead anything that's not a blast gorilla or otherwise has useful connects gets rarely used. I've never seen anyone use Mifuyu in PVP for instance, and Rena and Rika aren't popular either.

Once I stopped losing on purpose, I was able to beat two of the three rounds I did. The last round the enemy Nanaka got a string of crits and wiped my team...

From what I've heard not really. The (oblivious) protagonist has love interests of both genders.

@riverFlower Blast Gorillas like Ashley, Kyoko, OG Homura etc can get their magia off more often if you pair them with an Accel gorilla like Rika, Mifuyu, or Nemu (unreleased in NA). Also characters that boost MP with their connect like Madoka or Mayu, or Iroha (if the target is Yachiyo) can help.

@Veya I hate PvP in this game as it's so massively unbalanced that it's barely any fun. Half the time you'll either curb stomp the opponent or they will do so to you. If they improved the matchmaking to something better it might be more enjoyable. But until then, I'm avoiding it as much as possible.

@riverFlower Until she (Homura) finds out one of those players were Madoka. Also speaking of Homura I could see her spending all of her magia stones (and money) on any banner featuring Madoka in them.

Yeah I meat Riko Chiaki not Rika Ayano. I only ship Rika with Ren. Also speaking of Riko, I've seen a few images on pixiv of her being shipped with Konoha Shizumi.

Interestingly enough Ashley already has a pixiv tag for her: アシュリー・テイラー... although the only pictures are a futa one, a few of her bullying Homura (which seems out of character), an a few solo pictures.

Also, I ship Ashley with Riko given how close they are in Ashley's side story.

@SuperText I've heard of that theory myself and it does seem plausible that Kuro and Kuroe are the same person given that from I've heard Kuroe was seen in the Wings of Magius near the end of the show.

If a pebble started the chain of events that resulted in the Magia Record timeline does that mean she's the strongest magical girl ever?

Ultimate Madoka had a rerun (along with daily free rolls for her) with one of the anniversaries in Japan so it's probably only a matter of time.

@kittey Really I didn't pay too much attention to the placement of the tail on her back and took the explanation without thinking about it that much.

Just everyone wait till Kuro gets her 5* unlock then she'll start stomping everyone else alongside Ultimate Momoko.

No I expected her to lose simply so I would avoid gaining too many points for the next round. Hopefully I'll end up fighting some easy opponents then.

Kuro's so useless... I just threw a few pvp matches by making a team composed of just Kuro and nobody else and went into a ranked battle. She sure did get stomped under Alina's boot super quick.

From what I understand Reverse Harem just means that the harem is lead by a female instead of a male like a standard harem. The love interests in the reverse harem can be of any gender.

Unfortunately BugDevil won't be able to respond to you. Regardless, the Everyone tag usually just means a lot of people even if it isn't strictly everyone like it is in this picture.

I guess having 4 slots for a natural 4 star unit would make it somewhat easier than what I did. From what I remember I tried a magia focused team with 4s Rika, Mifuyu, Kokoro, 2s Ultimate Madoka (or was it 2s Mayu?) and a random accel gorilla (usually either another Rika or Mifuyu). The problem I found was I couldn't charge my magia gauge fast enough while dealing with both damage and status effects the boss dealt. Now that my Mifuyu is 2s and I've got 5 doppels (soon to be six once Iroha's uncap comes) I suppose it'd be easier. Maybe anyway?

Also I totally forgot about existence of the original Madoka Online. Thanks for reminding me about it. It was interesting to read the wiki articles about how the game played and compare it to the current one (Magia Record).

Edit: Today's matches in Mirrors Ranking went mostly well. I only lost one battle with an enemy team composed of: Tsuruno, Yachiyo, and Ashley. Had just defeated the enemy Ashley but then Yachiyo used ignore defense plus a blast combo killing all of my team except for my own Ashley.

Further edit: Almost done with getting mats to get my Ren to 5* just need 2 more sheep horns and 6 more plaque cords. Am farming the appropriate stages according to the wiki, although it'll probably take a few pots to get all the needed mats (without using my daily coins). After that I'll need to wait till the right day to farm dark xp cards since I've used most of my stock up.
